Trump posted a video to his social media site this Monday, talking about "what's next for America" if this fascist is allowed back into the Oval Office again, and if you look at the fine print, more than once it calls for a "unified reich."

A video posted to Donald Trump's account on his social media network Monday included references to a “unified Reich” among hypothetical news headlines if he wins the election in November.

The headline appears among messages flashing across the screen such as “Trump wins!!” and “Economy booms!” Other headlines appear to be references to World War I.

The word “Reich” is often largely associated with Nazi Germany’s Third Reich, though the references in the video Trump shared appear to be a reference to the formation of the modern pan-German nation, unifying smaller states into a single Reich, or empire, in 1871.

This was quickly jumped on by the Biden-Harris campaign on Xitter:

The campaign is blaming it on a staffer and pretending it wasn't meant to be a campaign ad:

It was posted and shared on the former president's Truth Social account while he was on a lunch break from his Manhattan hush money trial.

“This was not a campaign video, it was created by a random account online and reposted by a staffer who clearly did not see the word, while the President was in court," Karoline Leavitt, the campaign press secretary, said in a statement.

I was wondering how they were going to weasel out of this one. Usually they only do a wink and nod to the Nazis in the party who love Trump and then insult everyone's intelligence pretending that Trump didn't really mean what he said, or it was a "joke," or some lame excuse along those lines. Posting this video with the Third Reich line in there more than once was a pretty blatant embrace of Hitler, and it was posted under Trump's name.

Can you imagine how the media would have reacted if a social media account in Biden's name had posted something this vile? It would have been breaking news cutting into every single so-called "news" channel in the United States with pundits hyperventilating over when he was going to resign.

But it's Trump, so they've just ignored it. I don't believe for one minute whoever posted this didn't see the Third Reich crap. They're playing to Trump's base, and they know who that base is.

If our corporate media was doing their job, they'd be making sure every single voter who hasn't already seen this knows how vile the Trump campaign is, who they want to cater to, and what they've got in store for us if we allow him to resume power.
