I still miss the Big Blue Button!!!
:(
;)
The new site is not displaying properly in Firefox 3.0.3.
Sorta usable, but the annoyance factor is high (to me at least). May have to stay away if it doesnt improve...
Yeah, this is a big step backward. I don't get it. Are they trying to drive away comment traffic? It may work.
Nice work. The site looks swell in Firefox now. ;^)
I don't doubt that Caribou Barbie would throw St. McCain under the bus for a shot at 2012 or beyond. According to news articles from last month, she has turned on every other mentor or allie if it would further her own political career. She is an opportunist without a conscience.
early on, randi rhodes made a joke that mcSAME better get a food taster...
Three words: Not. Gonna. Happen.
The only people who would cast a vote for her is the uber horny, think only with their dicks, GOP diehards. Or the theocratic minded.
While many Americans leave a lot to desire in the brains department, they are not collectively THAT stupid.
Provided that McCain loses in 2008, I see this happening:
1. Palin will try to posture herself into the front-runner position for 2012, although Romney and Huckabee might have something to say about it.
2. She'll try hard to cement a 'Reagan Coalition' together, but it'll be a shaky and unsure little beast until the economy rights itself (we must recall that the GOP is in very bad odor at the moment).
3. She'll have to essentially go back to college in order to build up her flimsy knowledge base or risk lookig like an even bigger idiot. Palin will most likely fail to get far in the 2012 primaries, and may (depending on how things go in Alaska) lose her governorship.
Tis a good one, thought so when I posted it in an open thread the other day...
still worth a wider audience.
Found at www.demconwatchblog.com -- I guess I missed the memo on this. Register and show again all of the powers that be (Dems & repugs) that We the People are the power in this country.

On Thursday, October 2nd at 10:30 AM on Broadway between 48th and 49th
Streets in Times Square, the founders and organizers of “An Obama Minute”
will be joined by Academy Award Nominee Rosie Perez, Alan Cumming and
other special guests to unveil a giant video billboard that will countdown
the hours, minutes and seconds to The Obama Minute on October 6th when
Obama supporters from across the country will attempt to raise $1 million
in one minute for Barack Obama’s presidential campaign.
The billboard will serve as a virtual town hall where supporters from
anywhere in the United States can text their message to the video screen
in Times Square with examples of “things you can do in a minute.”
The national grassroots campaign “An Obama Minute,” www.AnObamaMinute.com,
is aiming to direct over 10,000 people at the same moment to the
fundraising page they’ve set up on Barack Obama’s website. The “Obama
Minute” is expecting over $1 million in small donor contributions for
Senator Barack Obama’s presidential campaign in a single minute at 12:00
PM on October 6, 2008.
eastern time, i presume...
McCain pulled out of Michigan so Palin could stand up and say he was wrong, it makes her look strong. It remind me of the McCain "I'm suspending my campaign" junk!!!
McCain = Pain for the US, for 4 more years!!!!
Michigan is being used by McCain as just another political stunt. Won't work because people know the drill by now.
A very damaging report appeared yesterday which outlined why perhaps our fascist mainstream media is actually "in the tank for McCain" as he so erroneously claims about Obama. Here are the facts - here's what our 5 major cable networks stand to gain with a McCain presidency:
GE(NBC) - $25 million in tax breaks
Time Warner (CNN)- $500 million in tax breaks under McCain
Walt Disney (ABC) $640 million in tax breaks under McCain
News Corp (FOX) - $80 million in tax breaks under McCain
Viacom (CBS) - $190 million in tax breaks under McCain
GRAND TOTAL: $1.44 MILLION IN TAX BREAKS TO OUR FASCIST MEDIA WHORES.
Now we know why the panels are biased on every newscast; now we know why ABC "scrubbed" portions of McCain's interview; now we know precisely WHY we can no longer trust what we hear on any of these broadcast networks. Can them all! Use the internet for your news - they're all "on the take" and Fascist GOP owned.
Plus the Executive tax perks wouldn't be bad either.
But the truth of the matter is the crap is going to hit the fan whoever is in there.
my first look at the new "LOOK" -
beautiful!
needs a bit more border on the left side though...
thanks C&L!
oh, just found this: why bother with "subject"?
and a simple "post" will do... "save"? "preview"? where's "post" (or whatever)
This is just too funny!

One good thing about this new format, is having to calculate 2+2 to prove we're human means, we don't have to worry about sarah palin commenting here.
Be prepared for the upcoming smear campaign.

"I'm not saying this is the perfect answer. If I were dictator, which I always aspire to be, I would write it a little bit differently."

- John Sidney WcCain

"I told all four that there are going to be some times where we don't agree with each other, but that's OK. If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator"
- George W. Bush

curious Youtube.com has the views pegged at 202, which seems common to videos critical or pointing out some Republican flaw.
Also sometimes the credits and honours stats for the vidoes dont tally up with the views, esp when its a 202 one.
I would put money on the idea that the people at Youtube.COM are working for Republican masters.
Videos also vanish too easily from there too, they last longer on Youtube Canada.
I would like to suggest all readers to go to the Truthout website to read the article on McCain, written for Rolling Stone, it is complete, accurate & gives all the facts of the real McCain, it is long but well worth taking the time to read.

Here's the real POW story of John McCain and his work on the POW/MIA Committee in Congress to cover it up and desert the rest of the POW's left behind. McCain's in it up to his ears. He's one unbelievable liar and fraud.
