Those are the ones to focus attention on, especially Dorgan, Gregg, LeMieux, Lincoln, Lugar, McCain, Murkowski, and Voinovich. Getting at least two of those and preferably three or more would probably give us the bill.

The campaign started by filmmaker Franny Armstrong, who made the film "The Age of Stupid", to create a critical mass to pressure the UK government to get serious about climate change is gaining serious momentum. The campaign asks people to reduce their carbon emissions by 10% in 2010 to help meet the overall goal of an 80% reduction in the UK's greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
Since its start in September, the 10:10 campaign has picked up loads of supporters, including many in Parliament.

The Federal Communications Commission moved forward today on proposed Net Neutrality rules that would prevent Internet service providers from intentionally blocking or slowing web traffic. In a notice of proposed rulemaking, the FCC invited public comment on six principles intended to "preserve and promote an open Internet."
"Given the potentially huge consequences of having the open Internet diminished through inaction, the time is now to move forward with consideration of fair and reasonable rules of the road," said Chairman Julius Genachowski in a statement.
"Indeed, it would be a serious failure of responsibility not to consider such rules, for that would be gambling with the most important technological innovation of our time."

The Republican Party as a whole is suffering from a huge case of mass amnesia. They seem to forget that they are the ones that crashed our economy. They seem to forget that they are the ones that made the whole world hate us. They forget that every policy they enacted was a miserable failure and that our country is paying huge, steep price for it now. In the case of Dick Cheney, he has forgotten that he was the one that dropped the ball on Afghanistan by insisting on a failed, costly in lives and treasure, war in Iraq.
