This one is priceless! The lies never end!!

Yesterday, Ari Fleischer said HOW DARE anyone say that 9/11 happened on Bush's watch. Today on Hardball, Frank "neocon extraordinaire" Gaffney said that Saddam was involved in the Oklahoma City Bombings.

Seriously.

Matthews disappointed me once again, allowed the winger to dominate the conversation. Matthews never dissected the interview with the facts, no substance other than republican talking points and a few "liberal" cheap shots. What can you expect he is Pennsylvanian....
Unless I missed something, I had to keep walking away.

http://downingstreetmemo.com/

It was beyond obnoxious, overall. Corn kept trying to call Gaffney on his repeated lies, but Gaffney kept talking and talking and talking. At one point, Corn asks if the guy ever breathes. Add Tweety into the mix and it was three people who talked over each other.

But to hear Gaffney even dare to suggest that Saddam was involved in Ok. City made me want to throw something at my television. I kept saying CALL HIM ON THAT BULLSHIT! It's surreal sometimes watching right wing assholes lie through their pieholes.

Useless pieces of shit.

There was a certain militia township, a ex army son of a German diplomat and possibly some FBI involvement (think paintballers).

But no it was merely two whacko 'lone gunmen'...

I think he got that from the thoroughly discredited loony Laurie Mylroie. I think, too, that that's where Judy Miller got a lot of her nutty ideas from.

The Big Lie theory is really in effect.

This one is priceless! The lies never end!!
"President Barack Obama signed a $410 billion spending bill Wednesday that includes thousands of pet projects inserted by lawmakers, even as he unveiled new rules to restrict such so-called earmarks.
At the same time, after Democrats criticized former President George W. Bush’s signing statements, Mr. Obama issued one of his own, declaring five provisions in the spending bill to be unconstitutional and nonbinding, including one aimed at preventing punishment of whistleblowers."

Yup

TWO percent of that bill was earmarked (and from what I read, they were solid earmarks, no matter how funny John McCain thinks they sound), and of that TWO percent of the total bill, 40% is REPUBLICAN pork.

Ew.

That means... (doing math in her head) that 60% is Democrats' pork?

would be correct.

Remember, not all pork is bad. Pork which is hidden from sight is very bad, but all the pork in this is out in the open. Steve Benen at Washington Monthly did several pieces on the ones the Goopers are making fun of, and every one of them was well worth-while.

There was one for $200k for tattoo removal, which McCain made fun of. It was for gang tattoo removal which helped ex-gang members move into regular society. Even a staunch self-proclaimed right wing sheriff said it was a very good program.

That is just one example.

I wish I had that 2%

that you had a functioning brain.

Whaaaaaa

when a tool like you proves my point.

...

Stewart's interview of Kramer was brutally honest, hard hitting.
I am Wowed, an entire half hour show dedicated to destroying Kramer.
Flawless execution!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2JNxeWO_wA

From a hardcore gamer! Stewart is GOD.

Stewart held Cramer's ass to the fire. I was shocked and awed. Stewart did a phenom job, especially when he spoke in such a heartfelt way about people putting money into 401k's while the people on Wall Street stole it behind closed curtains.

I wish this could have been a full hour. Watching Jim squirm as Jon hit him over the head with the joke his network is, on a network dedicated to jokes was incredible. His only retort, the only possible thing he could say in the face of the avalanche was "we could do better". No shit!

Best part, and the one that any common working person could grasp. There are two markets. One with 401K's and pensions regular people plunk their cash in year after year and are told to let it ride. Over the long haul, things will be peaches and cream. And one no one talks about that gambles with this money for short term reward and fucks the other group regularly. And CNBC, instead of investigating this and reporting on it, gives us a snake oil show and a bunch of horseshit advice. They help and work in concert with the second group to pump and dump, cover up, lie, cheat and steal from group one.

Thank you Jon. Best F'ing show on TeeVee!

I love Stewart, I don't ever want to see him going back to simple fart jokes.

Sometimes the world needs simple flatulence humor.

Also loved the video played that should put Jim in prison. I would bet some mad money Jimmy had a little swamp-ass action going on.

Jim: "It's on TV now (gulp)."

You could see Cramer sweating his balls off. I wonder if the SEC will look into him.

I am hoping to see the thousands of suits the various Attorneys General's have in the works about mortgage fraud and bad lending. The next couple of years should be very interesting.

That's what made me think of Sub-Zero's fatality from Mortal Kombat.

google Overstock.com and the cabal of short sellers who supposedly destroyed 1000 companies over two decades via Wall Street and phantom naked short selling.

gladly sell my shorts if they would bring in some extra cash.

on the ones with racing stripes.

Brain bleach, please!!!!

Evening, darlin'!

How are ya?

And how might you be?

shows a little more promise. Things are moving ahead.

It's a little slow for me now, but I am relishing in it. When I get gone, I get gone. I am savoring time with my dog and soon to be time with my sweetie.

you have a sweetie now. Good for you.

He's a keeper, for sure!

Rightwing asshole who owns it and takes that money and uses it against everything I believe in. He vocally called the people of Utah stupid because they didn't vote as he liked. I wouldn't give him two fucking cents.

I between the plate spinner and the singing dog, I thought Jon did some hard hitting reporting.

My favorite act was Jimmy the sweaty clown.

LOL

Yes, indeedy. He probably left sweat trails as he slithered off the stage.

it probably wasn't sweat. I'll bet Jon had him shitting himself.

HA

I hadn't thought of that, but you are probably right!!

GNA

And sweet dreams all around!!

She is proving more every day that she's just another nasty conservative.

And, the more she shows up on BillO's show, the more you can see that she is one of the whiners Phil Gramm talked about.

"She is proving more every day that she's just another nasty conservative."

She always has been: you are too kind. I usually just say another C#nt.

as much as i disagree with meaghan's politics and her attitude, she is friggin hot...i would do her in a nano second

I always love it when you share your twisted sexual fantasies with over a hundred thousand people on the internet.

It tells us so much about you that I simply want to quarantine your home/apartment complex/entire block.

Canada Should Bar or Prosecute Bush: Lawyer

As George W. Bush's St. Patrick's Day visit to Calgary draws near, the federal government is facing pressure from activists and human rights lawyers to bar the former U.S. president from the country or prosecute him for war crimes and crimes against humanity once he steps on Canadian soil.

Bush is scheduled to speak at the Telus Convention Center March 17, but Vancouver lawyer Gail Davidson says that because Bush has been "credibly accused" of supporting torture in Iraq and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Canada has a legal obligation to deny him entry under Canada's Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. The law says foreign nationals who have committed war crimes or crimes against humanity, including torture, are "inadmissible" to Canada.

"The test isn't whether the person's been convicted, but whether there's reasonable grounds to think that they have been involved," says Davidson, who's with Lawyers Against the War (LAW). "...It's now a matter of public record that Bush was in charge of setting up a regime of torture that spanned several parts of the globe and resulted in horrendous injuries and even death. Canada has a duty."

Ban Bush From Canada for War Crimes: Lawyers

A lawyers' group has asked the RCMP to bar former U.S. president George W. Bush from entering Canada, citing torture and war crimes committed in Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

In a letter to the RCMP war crimes section and copied to Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff and other federal ministers and opposition MPs, the Lawyers Against the War group claims that Bush is "inadmissible to Canada . . . because of overwhelming evidence that he has committed, outside Canada, torture and other offences" as detailed in Canada's War Crimes Act.

Bush is expected to visit Canada on March 17, to give a speech in Calgary as a guest of the city's chamber of commerce.

The letter, dated Wednesday, asks the Mounties to "begin an investigation of George W. Bush for aiding, abetting and counselling torture between Nov. 13, 2001, and November 2008 at Guantanamo Bay prison in Cuba, Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq, Bagram prison in Afghanistan, and other places."

It also asks the prime minister, attorney general and ministers of immigration and public safety to ban Bush for heading an administration that "engaged in torture and other war crimes against humanity."

Three years for throwing a fucking shoe. I love the new Iraq "democracy". Foreclosures up 30%
in February. The FBI can't keep up with the FOI Act, for some reason. Pelosi doesn't mind keeping automatic pay raises for Congresspersons. A lack of a universal health care system keeps us from surviving in a free global market system. One in fifty American kids is or has been homeless. The Vatican hates healing the sick and child rape victims getting an abortion. Some states try to make stem cell research illegal, while Perry the Dick doesn't mind screwing Texans out of unemployment benefits. The "liberal" media actually thinks Rush Limbaugh is good for the GOP. Waddya know? Non-Arab people can be terrorists, too. Over 14,000 defibrillators have been recalled. IBM is finally doing something useful for the environment.

Happy Friday the 13th. Eleven new victims of Don't Ask, Don't Tell. Household incomes have seen their worst decline in nearly sixty years!

Here is the kind of comment we get from this entirely absorbing thread. I've spent over an hour reading it and it gives much insight into many things.

From the Jewish Journal/God Blog:

"Alfonse, I suspect you are not Jewish but a skin head. Maybe the Jews that feel they have to be ashamed of Madoff should just keep a low profile and pretend they are not Jewish. Self hating Jews like “Alfonse”, which by the way is as Jewish of a name as a ham sandwhich is kosher, probably has no jewish descendants due to intermarriage and assimilation anyways.

Myself, I am proud of being Jewish, and if the truth be known, Jews as a group are superior both morally and intellectually to every other group. So I, have nothing to be ashamed of or to apologize for if there happens to be a Jew that fails intellectually or morally.
I dare anyone to show me statistics and facts to the contrary. I dare anyone.

That being said , all of the posters on here that claim they are Jewish and are so devestated by the Madoff affair, should really convert to something other than Judaism. I suspect most if not all of them are not really Jewish."

Witness the magic of deregulation: Probable Carcinogens Found in Baby Toiletries - http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/...
More than half the baby shampoo, lotion and other infant care products analyzed by a health advocacy group were found to contain trace amounts of two chemicals that are believed to cause cancer, the organization said yesterday.
Some of the biggest names on the market, including Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo and Baby Magic lotion, tested positive for 1,4-dioxane or formaldehyde, or both, the nonprofit Campaign for Safe Cosmetics reported.

Southern based Corporations = 'New South' Plantations: Facing South: "Cheap labor. Even more than race, it's the thread that connects all of Southern history -- from the antebellum South of John C. Calhoun and Jefferson Davis to Tennessee's Bob Corker, Alabama's Richard Shelby and the other anti-union Southerners in today's U.S. Senate.
It's at the epicenter of a sad class divide between a desperate, poorly educated workforce and a demagogic oligarchy, and it has been a demarcation line stronger than the Mason-Dixon in separating the region from the rest of the nation."

'Great Benefits of Deregulation' & Republican 'Great Economy' Update: Household net worth plunges by record amount - http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/A...
The net worth of American households fell by the largest amount in more than a half-century of record keeping during the fourth quarter of last year, reflecting the blow families are taking from a plunging stock market and dwindling home prices. The Federal Reserve said Thursday that household net worth dropped by a record 9 percent in 2008's October-December period compared to the third quarter. That was the biggest decline on records that go back to 1951.

Republican/Con-servative fiscal policies in action: Schools turn to mass layoffs to ease deficits - http://www.reuters.com/article/domesticNews/i...
Some U.S. public school districts are turning to mass layoffs of teachers and support staff to ease ballooning deficits in the latest sign of how the recession is hurting ordinary Americans. The looming layoffs contrast with President Barack Obama's pledge to improve education in the United States.
On Tuesday, Obama proposed lengthening the school year and paying top teachers more. And the $787 billion federal stimulus package includes billions of dollars for schools. On Friday, the Los Angeles Unified School District -- the nation's second largest -- will issue preliminary layoff notices to nearly 9,000 staff members, including teachers.
This is the wrong place to make cuts...start with the Pentagon budget/Defense budget. They're 'starving the beast' like Norquist wants....but Norquist needs to remember, the uneducated 'mythical little guy' masses he'll be creating won't storm the Bastille with pitchforks....they'll have H&Ks, Remingtons, & Glocks. He needs to realize that....

E.J. Dionne Jr.: Obama must make his case on ideology - http://www.startribune.com/opinion/commentary...
The economic crisis has let loose a furious philosophical debate over the meltdown, its causes and its cures. Not for 80 years has there been a more opportune time to make the case for the bankruptcy of conservative ideas, because the economic downturn came after nearly every conservative nostrum had become national policy. Conservatives know that if this impression takes hold, they and their ideas will be forced into the wilderness for a generation or more.
Liberals and progressives need to press their larger arguments on behalf of more economic equality, in defense of government's necessary role, and against utopian views of what unfettered capitalism can achieve. The Obama administration is courting danger if it does not offer a clear moral and philosophical analysis of what went wrong in the economy -- and an understandable case for what it's doing to fix things.
Couldn't agree more, its time to 'sink the battleship' of con-servatism once and for all....

Healthcare Enemy No. 1 -Christopher Hayes - http://www.thenation.com/doc/20090330/hayes
"Rush Limbaugh offers Democrats an irresistible target as the de facto leader of the Republican Party, but for my money, Rick Scott is the man who best embodies the spirit of the current conservative opposition. The name may not exactly be a household word, or it may ring a faint bell, but Politico recently reported that the millionaire Republican would be heading up Conservatives for Patients' Rights (CPR), a new group that plans to spend around $20 million to kill President Obama's efforts at healthcare reform.
Having Scott lead the charge against healthcare reform is like tapping Bernie Madoff to campaign against tighter securities regulation. You see, the for-profit hospital chain Scott helped found--the one he ran and built his entire reputation on--was discovered to be in the habit of defrauding the government out of hundreds of millions of dollars."

Republican Culture of Corruption Update: Alaska legislator who killed oil-tax bill to plead guilty to bribery - http://www.mcclatchydc.com/homepage/story/638...
Former state Rep. Beverly Masek has agreed to plead guilty to conspiring to receive a bribe, according to documents filed today in U.S. District Court in Anchorage. Masek, a Republican from Willow who represented the Matanuska-Susitna area ((what a coincidence; she represented Gov. Airhead Moose-olini's district)) between 1995 and 2004, was accused by the Justice Department of accepting at least $4,000 from former Veco Corp. chief executive Bill Allen in 2003. In return for the money, she killed an oil tax bill she had introduced after Allen told her it was "harmful" to his oil industry clients, according to the charges.

Norm Coleman is Our GOP Hypocrite This Week for Pinching Pennies Only When it Suits his Cause - http://www.buzzflash.com/articles/honors/141
Thankfully, as Franken's lead attorney told us earlier this week, the end is near. And, though he refuses to admit it, Coleman seems to realize that fact as well. In fact, Coleman took a full-time, salaried job with the Republican Jewish Coalition in January, one which he could not legally keep if he were a U.S. senator.

For this daily wrap up. I not only sincerely appreciate it every single day but I look forward to it!

I love what both you and tequila do.

Thanks again!

how did the mossad escape new york after the 911 attack , they flew out of new york on the same night that the bushes flew the bin laden family out back to saudi arabia but the mossad went in seperate air craft back to tela vive! all other air craft were grounded!

ok! ok! maby the rush limpballs joke was to much for some to handle but heres a true story, now unlike most here who believe a guy at 74 cant walk chew gum and think without a care taker present , i was walking my sheltie dog this morning as i do every day , and i allways take a poop bag with me , well my dog like every dog around here likes to piss on the mail box wood posts , so we come to this post and bandit , lifts his hind legg and starts watering it, just then this lady pulls into the driveway rolls her window down and screams ,hey! dont let that dog piss on my mail box post! well i looked at her and asked ,well what would you like me to do lady hold his dick for him and point it in a different direction, well she sputtered something and i says besides its not likely that posts going to grow any bigger dont yah think? well we moved on and here i am ,just like i was yesterday the day before ect ect, just waiting for the yuck yuck yucks to continue,

say did i tell you about the guy i saw walking his cat on a leash in the park? well it was funny as its not normal to see anyone doing something like that! cats dont walk like dogs in a straight line ,they meowander , anyway i got to thinking is this really the mentality of americans and when i saw he was wearing a jacket with lettering on the back that read [university of sourthen indiana ]it was self explanitory, and he was wearing an obama for president tee shirt anyway i decided to take a break and sat down on a park bench and observe the genious with the cat , everything went well for him untill two loose dogs spotted the cat and came after them , the last i saw of him was the fast return he made to his truck and i watched him speeding down the street with the dogs still after him, good times [bro]

and people dont think i have sence of humor, heckys i remember when they had real commedians , abbot and costello the three stooges, fred allen and gracie allen, jack benny ,rochester , fibber magee and molly , charlie mccarthy and morter mcsnurd, well you get the picture , as rosana rosana danna said its allways something, i once had a dog who was so smart he was doing tricks on the carpet when he was only six months old, that carpet came up when he was one year old so rosanna was right ! it is allways something, who loves yah baby? i do!
