Plausible Denial. That's where some of that comes from.

I've met Mark Lane. He seems sane and very level-headed, and yet he is often protrayed as a whackjob. I suppose it is possible, but then maybe some of what he has offered up on the Kennedy Assasination has a least a grain of truth in it.

I'm from the school of thought that people don't go out of their way to portray you as a whackjob. Either you show yourself to be one, or you are a threat to someone who is trying to marginalize you.

Ferrofluid's picture

have you seen the Wade 'Ruby' archives of scanned documents found in Wade's office recently.
Very interesting stuff from back then, theres a letter from one person to Wade complaining about what is going on, "whitewash", Wade replies and agrees, and complains that that he is disguested that all the evidence is disappearing into Fed hands.

Well worth a look. Gives some very interesting social and political feedback into that era.

The Men Who Killed Kennedy is a video documentary series by Nigel Turner that originally aired in 1988 in England with two one-hour segments about the John F. Kennedy assassination. The United States corporation, Arts & Entertainment Company, purchased the rights to the original two segments. Three one-hour segments were added in 1991. A sixth segment was added in 1995. Finally, three additional hourly segments were added by the History Channel in November 2003. The ninth segment, titled "The Guilty Men", directly implicated Lyndon B. Johnson. Within days, Johnson's widow, Lady Bird Johnson, more of his surviving associates, ex-President Jimmy Carter, and the lone, living Warren Commission commissioner and ex-President Gerald R. Ford immediately complained to the History Channel. They subsequently threatened legal action against Arts & Entertainment Company, owner of the History Channel. "The Guilty Men" segment was completely withdrawn by the History Channel.

MSNBC reported recently about a new analysis of audio tape that proves more shots were fired in the kitchen of RFK's death than were in Sirhan's gun.. Pretty amazing how so few American's seem to care or do anything about it...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xcl-KXvgyic

3/26/2008
A previously unknown audio tape, recently uncovered, reveals that Sirhan Sirhan did not act alone in the June 1968 assassination of Senator Robert F. Kennedy.

The Pruszynski recording is the only known tape of the Bobby Kennedy shooting. The audio recording was made by freelance newspaper reporter Stanislaw Pruszynski, a Polish journalist covering the RFK presidential campaign for Canadian newspapers.

In this video, MSNBC News Anchor Mika Brzezinski in New York and WVIT TV Reporter Amy Parmenter in Hartford, Connecticut report on scientific findings by forensic experts Robert J. Joling and Philip Van Praag concerning this tape, which was uncovered by an American journalist in 2004 and examined extensively by Van Praag beginning in 2005.

We have no credentials to bring those responsible to justice and the authorities that do have the credentials are hamstrung as far as trying to investigate the crimes of the oligarch.

Uncle Joe Mccarthy's picture

here is my prob with these "experts"...this wasnt dallas

this was the kitchen of the ambassador hotel

the gun in sirhan's hand was evident and he was tackled

no one saw a second gunman

also, was the forensic expert also an audio expert?

Orangutan.'s picture

It's not that hard to figure out gunshots on an audiotape. The tape had 13 sounds identified as gun shots. Sirhand's gun held 8. Math and Sound aren't that hard. Don't be afraid.

if the dems don't grow a couple of sets of balls and make these assholes filibuster instead of just threatening it. Make them talk for 48 hours straight every single time they filibuster and make sure that it is on the news. We have got to hold them accountable!!

How many people know that the 110th was the most obstructionist congress in American history? All fucking Goopers. This has to stop.

constituent's picture

when the real boss gets moved in will see. obama is a tough dude. the red team can fxxk themselves. i'm sorry, i've had with these nuts. we can bailout the big three autos and financial/
insurance companies but we're NOT heard. the #110 are the leaders in filibusters and they try to blame it on the majority. that's a joke it's run by the minority. they have their money making war,their cheap labor and their financial instruments. it's our turn.

MsJoanne's picture

I am amazed that they could actually verbalize that they intended to stop anything from taking place, just as I am shocked to see one of their own state, in a newspaper, no less!, that healthcare would be bad for them politically because it would be so popular.

I am still shaking my head over this (I read it the first time a couple of days ago) and find the gall they have beyond anything I could ever imagine.

I keep saying this but if someone wrote a fictional novel of this shit, it would tank as being completely unrealistic.

MsJoanne's picture

that anyone in the US government will never do anything to expose anyone in the US government. As much as I would love it, and respect Obama that much more if he did it, I doubt that will happen.

I doubt BushCo will ever be held accountable.

constituent's picture

i doubt obama himself will do it. it will require outside energy/desire. as we speak BUSH is up to NO good. i just hope OBAMA can reverse the bullshit. overall i'm with you i have NO sympathy for that matter very little to no respect for BUSH. he is a real live tool. neither BUSH or cheney respect the constitution.

MsJoanne's picture

they do not respect human life (as much as they like to tout it), they don't respect people, they don't see what they are doing is reprehensible, and you definitely hold them in higher regard than I do because I think they are not too far off of the people they spent so much time railing against. I have less than zero respect for eiher of them.

I have never hated my government before. I may not have liked this or that president, and I may have disliked this or that policy, but I HATE these fuckers with all of my being.

Orangutan.'s picture

We need to take the fight to them and do the hard work now preparing for a victory. Sometimes it seems we are more comfortable in a reactionary stance or attitude. We need to progress to a point where the neo cons and republicans are but a blip on our radar or better yet in our rear view mirror.

ron's picture

We have the internet. I still think we have an advantage. The young people will go with the internet.

Republicans up for re-election in 2010. Thank You MountainMan23.

* Richard Shelby of Alabama
* Lisa Murkowski of Alaska
* John McCain of Arizona
* Mel Martinez of Florida
* Johnny Isakson of Georgia
* Mike Crapo of Idaho
* Chuck Grassley of Iowa
* Jim Bunning of Kentucky
* David Vitter of Louisiana ~ prostitute
* Kit Bond of Missouri
* Judd Gregg of New Hampshire
* Richard Burr of North Carolina
* George Voinovich of Ohio
* Tom Coburn of Oklahoma
* Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania ~ Magic Bullet Theory
* Jim DeMint of South Carolina
* John Thune of South Dakota
* Bob Bennett of Utah

That's 18 of them. Almost half of the 40 that will be serving.

MsJoanne's picture

to see how McCain acts in the upcoming 111th.

I also think it will be interesting to see how these people, who are up for reelection, will actually vote - especially those from states that went blue.

Additionally, there are several Goopers who you might call reddog goopers which could be just the right amount to tip the scales (assuming the bluedog dems don't cancel them out).

constituent's picture

obama made it clear we have to stay involved. BUSH purposely left a fxxking mess. we have to be heard. just like the election. your correct it will be very interesting listening to the
republicans tell us we can't have healthcare but we can bailout automakers that fly to washington d.c. in their private learjets holding a tin cup.

I didn't know Prostitute was one of the 50 states. (My brother will be thrilled to know he's living in a prostitute.) Actually, though, history has proven that people in Louisiana have no problem electing convicted criminals if it means keeping somebody they think is worse out of office. In this case, however, I don't think they'll be voting for Vitter. I doubt if he'll even run.

As for Arlen Specter and the Magic Bullet Theory, I think his commitment to the Magic Buck Theory is more troubling.

Both my friend in Canada and I are really good cooks. We take great pride in it and enjoy it. One year, she had about 12 people over for dinner and made some duck dish she had never made before. It was on the table being served as she wrapped up a few things in the kitchen and when she got to the table, sat down and tasted it...she immediately stood up and said, "I don't know about you, but I am ordering pizza." Apparently, the recipe she had used sucked ass.

That story always cracks me up.

"They have to block health care reform because people will like it. And if government produces, the entire GOP worldview is lost. Bill Kristol said this a long time ago."

Its no wonder that Repugs resist a national health service with all their will.

constituent's picture

i was cruising some blogs earlier today. the redteam is really concerned about the good possibility of
nationalized/universal healthcare system being passed. of course the battle cry is 'i don't want to pay
for other people's healthcare'. some of these people do NOT realize they're paying for other people's healthcare already. that's part of the problem with healthcare. the demographic that can't afford healthcare is growing and the cost has increase approximately 129% in less than ten years. there has been no increase/growth in wages. healthcare is out pacing cost of living increases. obama wants to open up the congressional healthcare plan to those that want it. by increasing the PAYING pool membership prices will drop. currently people that can afford healthcare(wal mart employee)receive healthcare services but can't pay the bill. the cost becomes a burden to the paying pool. this essentially is a TAX. it's become even more prevalent with the influx of 'cheap' labor. something has to change. for those of us who want a cost effective healthcare system we need to SUPPORT the obama team. NOW is the time to make this happen at least get it in the works.

MsJoanne's picture

im not sure how you can rebuild an infrastructure in america with unskilled labor, it takes skilled carpenters steel workers concrete finnishers skilled electricians ect ect, to build or repair bridges highways dams and so on, its hard work you work in rain sleet snow and heat that would melt an icebergh, even a laborer needs skills , and thier are building codes that insure the work being done is not inferior and a safety hazzard, its not like it was in the thirtys where thousands just planted trees for the forest service, and how many will want to live in tents or barracks located on the job sites , thats the reality of jobs work programs , familys will be torn apart , like i said thats the reality and will even a tent to live in cost you part of your pay , and guess wholl own the tents!

tyree's picture

and another thing is youll be breaking the last large unions in america the construction unions! , or is that the plan? and will the obama government give any who participate in any works projects benifits? health retirement , ect, and if this all does happen how many senators and congressmn are planning on makeing a profit off the sweat off your brow? and how many politicians are ready to make political hay off pork barrel projects they sponcer? it seems to me its the old game the coal companys played in the old days your soul will be owned by the company stores,

tyree's picture

well im guessing another thread has been ruined by realitys but its food for thought and this is a hungry world ,
