...Senator McConnell (KY-R) lose his seat.
now that is good news
i just got wood
...as much as McConnell.
I didn't expect KY to go Democratic. Just looking for some solice in the continued southern block-voting for Republicans, no matter what. Too, my Dad has some politically sympathetic family in Lexington who'd get a big kick out of any Republican take an election fall.
He had an assectomy?
...in KY still undecided but Dole goes down in NC according to CBS. Well deserved loss in my opinion.
Democracy Now: Live Election Night 2008 Coverage
which network sucks the least. (Though I can't get the page to load...I'll try it later.)
though.
bodes well.
How tonight's cable coverage will go:

(Aside) Kevin Phillips-Bong (Slightly-Silly) = Blue Dog
...this is the first time I've been on television?
Election night special is one of my faves :D
....with the voter turnout in Ky. for Obama.
I'm in Hopkins County ( Western Kentucky ) and there are very few Obama/Biden signs or stickers on cars. This is die hard Republican territory. I knew McCain would carry the state, but I'm am very pleased with the percentage that went for Obama ( looking like around 46% )
info... I was feeling sick that he'd got a landslide or something. I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would vote for that McSame guy.
What is up with exit polling? It used to be a good indicator but since 2000 it hasn't been right yet.
If you look at all virginia polling it shows obama with a lead in men and women, that's everybody right? Yet the state is reporting that McCain has 53% of the tallied votes so far.
Exit polls are a good indicator of reality.
Diebold is here to fix that glitch with reality.
Thats why theres so much fuss over the discrepancys,
massive glaring holes in reality between the polls and some votes in Repug controlled land.
Mark Warner led Jim Gilmore 60-40 throughout the campaign, so there's no surprise .. but a lot of satisfaction.
In two years Virginia has shed two Republican senators (George Allen in 2006, Jim Gilmore in 2008) and replaced them with James Webb and Mark Warner.
Go Blue Virginia!!
I was just watching MSNBC and they had McCain ahead of Obama 63% to 37% WITH ZERO PERCENT of the precincts reporting.
It's hard enough for me to understand why you'd report a percentage with ONE PERCENT of the precincts in, but ZERO? Doesn't that mean they have no idea?
... the fix is in. You just got to see it too early...;-)
Less than 0.5% = 0%
NY Times has an interactive map Election Results 2008 where you can scroll over each state and see the current totals. Several states are "0% reporting" with several thousand votes reported, and the state is leaning blue or red based on that tiny vote count.
but Obama leading in FL with 2.5%
from western counties of VA. Shenendoah Valley and to the southwest. Very white, very evangelical.
Story here.
She was one of the first projected winners on whatever network is blabbing in the background. Nice job SC...Lieberdouche will be happy...
and Vermont zero according to AP.
Yet WcCain wins KY, Obama VT hmmmm.
http://hosted.ap.org/specials/election_night_...
Bellweather Vigo County going for Obama.
But what about Vigo the Carpathian, who's he going for?
We are like the buzzing of flies to him
So presumably he's a republican.
NY Times Elecion 2008 has SC leaning blue; MSNBC just called SC for McCain.
WTF ??
MSNBC projects McCain the winner of SC, but gives no numbers.
Yet NYT interactive map shows Obama leading in SC 13,725 to McCain's 10,083.
I guess I won't be going to kentucky as they have some seriously stupid people. I don't want my IQ to slip if I went there. Stay Away!
maybe now the more densely populated areas are tallyed...
Plus cigarettes are/were dirt cheap...
..to still be smoking cigarettes, it probably doesn't matter who wins.
and if you trust your 401K to be there when you retire...
...you just showed your just as, if not more, ignorant. To paint an entire state as stupid is, on its face, rather stupid.
It is no surprise that the John McCain - Sarah Palin ticket has gone increasingly negative down the home stretch. They really don’t have any other options to close the gap. However, a new negative advertisement is particularly disturbing in its hypocrisy.
http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Leaked_Ad_f...
Sarah Palin has consistently advocated abstinence-only education in schools, despite the fact that this philosophy has resulted with both Palin and her daughter conceiving out of wedlock. Clearly, abstinence-only has not worked for the Palin family, yet Sarah Palin wants to prescribe this in place of comprehensive sexual education for other young Americans.
This advertisement came from the same 527 group that put forth this anti-Obama spot last week…

It is not a sports game: if it comes to speed vs. accuracy.
Accuracy should be the main concern. Why on earth are TV stations in charge of calling states for a candidate. And why do we need to know the results within the hour, when the presidency does not get started in 3 more months?
...
What short attention span you have grandma viewer...
Is mcgramps the Nowhere Man?
The GOP will 'raygun' him to let Palin take over, and Cheney or some other slug as VP.
...Senator McConnell (KY-R) lose his seat.
Huh? TV shows he is leading.
Obama takes Penn!
Pennsylvania. There, I got it right...
Woo hoo!!!
LOL!
ones!!
;)
Drinking and typing do not mix :)
Wooo hooo!!
MSNBC is projecting a win in Pennsyvlania!
Pennslyvania GOES to Obama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! New
I vant to suck...your votes...
in a row...
but no calls yet.
Graham (R) 47.6%
Conley (D) 52.4%
AP is saying Graham wins !!!!
Allendale County is 80% for Conley, with 15% of the vote counted there.
They must be recounting !!
I bet the local GOP is hopping and screaming for recounts to delay or snatch defeat from defeat.
Whining about Goopers losing two elections in a row (Congress). And Wallace saying that the Congress public rating is so low, why are dems winning.
Quick...call the waaaah-mbulance!!
must be fun!!
Oh how that will upset the Repugs.
Is CBS using exit polls or??
Go ahead, you can say it now. It's over We won. Florida and PA for Barak.
WE
WON.
It really is a day for spotting flying pigs.
This could be a total meltdown for the Repugs.
Update WAS, now WcCain is 0.4% ahead.
I'm watching a documentary on mummies.
Some of them look remarkably like mcgramps
But with better complexions.
team??

What did mcconell's maggot do to you?
Kick mcconell's ass.
mcconnell tried to have me put a zipper in the seat of my pants!
Then kick mcconell's ass's ass.
cant my wooden legs in the shop being waxed
he he dole pulls up her nickers and goes back to jesus
Why would he have it any other way?
I can't believe that there are Americans who are so stupid that they voted for McCain. They'll have to live in a different reality starting Wednesday morning.
Normal people will look at them and shake their heads.....poor Republicans....so sad that they are so ignorant and so disgusting....very disgusting. Good work John McCain, you fucking idiot.
I , and many of my intellectual friends, think you are an ass. Idiot.
"Obama takes Vermont" Yeah like that's a big shock. Whadda ya think we are up here? A bunch of America hating hillbillies? Hell no we love America and our new President!
