How long before Rep. Price grovels before the Flaming Gasbag? It may be tough for him to beat some of the recent records.
And while he's at it, Limbaugh is probably due to call out Scarborough, too.

Wish I could remember who it was, but there was some Republican not too long ago who said something bad about Rush, but I read further in the story and learned he was running for a House seat and he was fourth-favorite for the spot, so it seemed likely to me that he was trying to get free publicity.
I think at that point even Rush probably realized the whole apology thing jumped the shark, I doubt he's going to continue harping on that much.
He's probably already made an appointment with Rush and is shopping for knee pads as we speak.
Joe had some democratic guy on this morning, damn I can't remember his name, but the whole Joe bunch including Pat Buchannan went after this guy something awful. There was so much yelling going on that I turned the whole damned thing off.

They often have guests I would like to hear from but lately they seem so defensive that they yell over each other and their guests too. I keep hoping that Joe and Mika will go on permanent assignment somewhere and they'll give that time slot to the Ed Show.

Why does Scarborough even have guests on his show? All he does is interrupt and talk over them. I started to get a headache just watching that little clip.

I'm sure all the republicans have Rush's phone number on speed dial just in case they accidentally slip and say something unfavorable about him, they can apologize as quickly as possible.

I am not known for my optimism, but I know that one day, hopefully soon, one of Limbaugh's Republican detractors will say, "No, fuck you. I will not apologize, nor should I." And thus will my basic faith in mankind be restored.
Now, if we can keep the Democrats in the House and Senate from apologizing whenever Wolf "Behold My Lupine Beard" Blister says they need to, then we will have made some progress.

I have not had any trouble with ff, compared to IE. And for the tiny trouble I have had, there's a pretty decent support forum.
I had the same problem it's with the adobe update , compatibility issue , , there is a fix you can download install somewhere on the Adobe site if I recall correctly .
Something about "in the absence of true leadership the American people will listen to anyone who steps up to the microphone."

I kind of enjoy Rush being the daddy of the republican party. He tells them when and where they can go, what they can do, and what they can say. If they mess up they are told, Wait until you father hears about this.

I agree with you. We are very distracted by these useless sideshows of arrogance and apathy. So, nothing gets done and everybody hates each other and we are all pointing fingers like a bunch of little kids, "He started it, not me." I'd love it if we'd grow up together. It's going to take more than a command and a lot of exclamation points. Great point. I'm with you 100 + percent. It's like dealing with a bunch of addicts, too.
These people like Limbaugh, Coulter, Hannity, Beck, etc., they are elevated to such a high level by the U.S. corporate media and then they get to define the debate.
And obviously, the debate is defined around war, security, patriotism, anti-Americanism, evils of socialism (give me a break), and how anything OUR elected officials (the government) does to improve our lives is bad and how we need to be very afraid because every other country hates America for its freedom, or something like that.
Haliburton, Exxon, Blackwater (now with a new name), Boeing, Lockheed Martin, they all get to define the debate.
Meanwhile, my partner who's in Los Angeles taking care of her mother with dementia and her 6 and 7-year old granddaughters can't get medical care and can't afford to get the girls into swimming classes or anything else because it's too f-ing expensive.
Guess what, here where I live, the state pays from about 85% of all my medical expenses. Education is free. Sports programs are very inexpensive with large reductions for the elderly, children, and low-income individuals.
Why isn't the MSM in the U.S. talking about those things?
No. It's everyday how everyone hates America and wants to attack us for our freedoms and be scared and on and on and on. And who's side are you one? Powell's or Limbaugh's

Where is it you live? Sounds good. I'm about ready for some help, and for some hope. We are back to thinking of leaving this USA because the culture is so..... well, so adolescent or something.
This weekend, The Conseil General of my region organized a Museum Festival. All 70 museums in my region were free for the whole weekend and open late into Saturday night.
It was wonderful. Public transportation is great here too. The weather is nice and it stays light late now (about until 10PM local time). So people were out and about with their families.
BTW, France is divided up into departments (like states in the U.S., but obviously smaller) and then regions (like counties, but actually bigger).
I could go on and on but I'll stop because I don't want to upset people. I am an American, born in San Francisco and raised in the bay area. I love my country but I have to admit, I am not optimistic. Even with Obama, there is just too much special corporate interest with massive power in America for the people to ever think for themselves and demand that their elected officials work for them.
Oh well...
If Obama can just fix the Health care problem (get us to single-payer Universal), I would be estatic.

I was at Alpes d'Huez last year when the peleton came in. It was great. George Hincapie came rolling in all banged up because he crashed coming off the Galibier - a terrible place to crash like that.
This year I will try to catch the time trial in Annecy.
Lance this year? You couldn't find a bigger Lance fan than me but honestly, Lance's age is working against him. It's almost a given he'll be working for Contador and he probably has no illusions of anything else. Maybe a time trial win. I believe he said he was doing it to bring attention to his cancer foundation which is a great gesture by him.
I watched him in the Tour of California, he is very strong. He knows the course and has a huge mental edge over everyone. He can do it, and he has a super strong team in Astana. Watch him, cause he's gonna win it.

Limbaugh was a useful idiot for Bushco, rounding up the ignorant to support Amerrka as we invaded Iraq, etc. But in a power vacuum he is destructive to the big money interests of the GOP. Big Money is moving to push Rush aside because he's doing them more harm than good. It's starting. They will get a kinder, gentler face of blue blood exploitation.

to think that Limbaugh would call out Scarborough who, even if MSNBC's ratings aren't that great, has easy access to the airwaves. Limbaugh targets currently active politicians. Although I would love the resulting clips of Scarborough fighting back.

I'm not a big "Wanda" fan, I've seen her act...she's not that funny. Also her comments at the WHC Dinner, weren't that bad ...they weren't too funny, but they weren't bad. What I do find funny is... How the Republicans "Circle the wagons" when someone throws some "Jabs" at Rush. I'm sure Rush realizes with all the remarks he has concerning other people's opinions, some remarks concerning him are bound to come his way. He's a big boy who can defend himself. I think Limbaugh has the right idea. Let's get the Republican Party down to a size where it's small enough to drown in a bathtub.
Limp-Dick and Dickhead are certainly hurting the Reslug party and I too hope it's a major blow to their sick and hate-filled, bigoted party.
