Anti-war activists aren’t taking kindly to General David Petraeus's academic turn. A video has emerged showing the former CIA director on his way to the first day of class Monday at the City University of New York, being followed down the street by what appears to be a small group of students shouting things like “war criminal” and “You've got blood all over you.”

Petraeus is teaching a class called “Are We on the Threshold of the North American Decade?” Petraeus manages to keep a straight face for the entire walk, and never acknowledges the hecklers.

"Every class, David," they yell, suggesting they will harass him en route to every class this semester. I'm guessing he will plan a more clandestine route for the rest of the semester.

After resigning from the CIA as evidence of an extramarital affair surfaced, Petraeus was offered a position as a visiting professor at the Macaulay Honors College at CUNY.

Once word got out that the retired general was offered a six-figure salary, his pay was cut to one dollar to "keep the focus on the students, on the school and on the teaching, and not have it be about the money," his lawyer said.
