NCAA Tournament has begun. Watch it online at CBS for free
And so it has begun. Memphis almost got upset by one of my local teams CS Northridge, but they faded at the end. American is giving Villanova a run for their money, but Villy is closing fast.
You can watch all the games online at CBS.com.
That's really cool because we're stuck with regional games only. How are your teams doing so far?

I wanted American to win, and I'll be cheering like crazy for Binghampton and Morgan State. The best part of the tourney is watching the people at the little schools go crazy when they take down the big guys.
And right now this #12 seed is beating #5 Illinois. I also picked #11 VCU over #5 UCLA.

i took western ky last season, cuz they were ranked too low
but they had a new coach this year, so i figured, no way...dont take em
of course...the big 10 sux...and wky killed the illini
oh well
bracket busted
vcu over ucla was a good pick
ucla knows they have no shot this year
im surprised they worked so hard
This is the same Western Kentucky team that beat the Big East's champion, Louisville.
Why does anyone give a damn about this crap? Our country is falling apart and every year at this time all we hear about is March Madness. This is exactly why our education system sucks and we're beaten by countries such as Japan. We have all this emphasis on college and professional sports, which contributes not one iota to this country's well being. Maybe instead of wasting all this money on this tournament these colleges should consider taking that money and distributing it to the science clubs and whatnot. Or maybe they could save the money and give students a tuition break. The Lebron Jameses of the world should not be heroes. They should be held up as examples of what NOT to do with your life to our children.
You don't think they are crazy about Professional sports in Japan and Europe? Really? Really?
This tournament doesn't "waste" a dime, its the biggest moneymaker in college sports. CBS pays the NCAA billions to cover it, and that money gets pumped into athletic, academic and scholarship programs all over the country.
Maybe they could use some of the profits for procedures to remove sticks from rear ends.
And Lebron never played in the NCAA. Nevertheless, I'm sure he knows how to count his hundreds of millions of dollars.
I never claimed he did. If you had paid attention, which you and your buddy Trotsky obviously did not, I held him up as an example of how America worships people who don't deserve it and who made bad choices. Also, I didn't say nothing about pro sports not being big in Europe and Asia. I DID, however, say that over there it is made clear you are in school to learn, not play sports.
Oh. You might want to learn some manners. Perhaps if you'd done better at school, you might have walked away with some decorum.
You "didn't say nothing". Maybe you should practice what you preach and learn some basic rules of grammar, smart guy. Also, I find it highly implausible that you know the priorities of Europe and Asia.
Just like Bachman, et alia. When someone calls you out on what you said, you claim they are distorting it or "not paying attention". Get a life, dude.
You know? It's also not necessary to start a personal flame war in a March Madness thread, either, Bro. Just sayin'. -- Sitemonitor
Maybe if you'd pay attention instead of insulting people rudely your reading comprehension might be better. I did not say March Madness is the cause. It is, however, a symptom of this country's warped priorities.
I just love how you automatically assume I don't take measures to entertain myself just because I think sports should take a bake seat to academics. It's very cute. ^_^ *Pats his cheek* There are more ways to entertain oneself than sitting on the couch watching people who will be nobodies in a decade do stuff anyone can do. I read, write, play the occasional RPG on my PS2, et cetera.
Keep trying to backpedal. Have fun in science club, poindexter.
Yeah, I took WKY and am glad I did.
But BYU and Clemson disappointed.
Akron and American U came close but ran out of steam.
I got lucky there, cause I have Nova in the Field of 8...
We participate, Adam, because the rage can consume you if that is all you focus on. There MUST be balance in life.
Seek it out.
