1. Quitting when the going gets tough; abandoning the responsibility entrusted to you by your neighbors for book advances and to make money on the lecture circuit.
2. Bizarre move that will damn ambitions for higher office.
I bet when people saw Jade they were convinced that David Caruso was pullin' a Palin.

SF convention last week. Panel on ebooks and their audience had a bunch of people happy with their various readers -- often because they aren't hard on the eyes like a computer screen. Fact that the latest Kindle currently has _FREE_ cellular internet is pretty frakkin' cool.
Anyway, another panel and I suggested that trans-human SF was in retreat. Panelist suggested that maybe writers just can't keep up with the exponential snowball of change. This week I saw Smokey Robinson deliver Nelson Mandala's eulogy in a global broadcast of what was apparently one of the specie's greatest heroes. So who can say where Palin will be in four years. If not president, maybe using her cleverness and diplomacy as Secretary of State?

The Senator from Nevada is getting extorted by a guy who's letting him sleep with his wife. Did I mention that it took 8 months for Minnesota to figure out its Senate election? Turns out Al Franken won - yes, that Al Franken.
What's next?
Maybe they'll really shock us and start a national health care system.

Why do I NEVER hear this brought up: Palin is NOT a good mother. There, I said it. I get mad whenever I hear that she is SUCH a great mother, mother of 5, blah blah blah. I read a statement that said they ( the pool ) refused two other schools that had " no " minorities because they ( the pool ) did not have the staff . If this is true then no case .
In the mailer I got, they said the camp had a contract to use the pool, and had paid money to the Valley Club. Why did Valley Club take their money of the pool is understaffed or could not accommodate the kids?

This associated onboard video (conventional bike & 2X video speed !) #1 and #2 shows why the IoM TT is the premier skilled and most dangerous GP TT race in the world. One mistake and you hit somebodys garden wall or go over a cliff (which has happened to a few riders over the years).
