This Week: In Memoriam
This Week with George Stephanopoulos marks the passings of actor Natasha Richardson, journalist Reese Cleghorn and actor Ron Silver.
In addition, the Pentagon released the names of six servicemembers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. According to iCasualties, the total number of allied forced killed in Iraq is now 4,578, in Afghanistan, 1,115. During this same period, Iraq Body Count confirms the deaths of 43 Iraqi civilians.

Natasha Richardson turned down renting a helmet that would have cost her about 10 dollars and might have saved her life. Now Canada will make it mandatory to wear a helmet.
It's very sad; she probably thought she'd be in no danger on the bunny slope. But the look in Liam's eyes says it all ...

sleep well, my brothers. We will never forget you.
So young! What a terrible waste, these wars make of men.
I also read that Harper's government denied entry to George Galloway. Seems like his anti-war speeches aren't very popular with the right. I have always admired Galloway after he cut Norm Coleman a new arsehole. He is a very gifted speaker.
Galloway, not Norm.
that the Canadian government would deny entry to Galloway, yet allow dubya in so he could stuff his pockets full of money.
Shameful.
Ive always admired him as an actor in the millions of tv shows/movies ive seen him in, but starting to get a little nutsy whenever an actor says that theyve been blacklisted because of their political views.
that may have been true during the mccarthy days, but jeaneanne garofalo, victoria jackson, and margaret cho need to stop saying that they get less work because of their political views.
For a minute there I thought they said he just died:
