By SilentPatriot Tuesday Oct 14, 2008 6:15pmSarah Palin's lies when it comes to what the Troopergate probe found -- i.e. her contention that the report said she did nothing unethical when, in fact, it found that she VIOLATED THE STATE'S ETHICS LAW -- are pretty brazen. At least the Bush administration tried to muddy the waters of their scandals a little bit. But not Palin; she's content with just lying about objective facts and findings. Can we really afford someone like this a heartbeat away? I'm with Cafferty: This woman scares the hell out of me.

We have reached a point of saturation with regard to lies. There have been so many that they have become background noise.
Last 8 years has proved if you say a lie enough times it becames a fact.
The Bush administration was bad when it came to conflation and half truths, but Palin has taken the art of the bald faced lie to a whole new level. This would have been the equivalent of David Kay submitting his report that there were NO WMDs in Iraq, and then having Bush hold a press conference to congratulate the Iraq survey team for finding all the NUCLEAR WEAPONS that Saddam had, and was about to use. It would be the equivalent of Dick Cheney saying the U.S. Army would be greeted as liberators, and then pointing to all the coffins coming home as evidence that the Iraqis were so excited to see the American soldiers that they hugged them to death.
In truth, however, the Bushies would have been even MORE successful in their lies if they'd actually done that! The fact that there is still....what....30% of the American public who think that Saddam was responsible for 9-11 is living proof that 30% will believe the original lie, even after you STOP repeating it. If you KEEP ON repeating it, your approval ratings can only go UP!
So...why doesn't Barack Obama go around telling all the TV cameras that he's WHITE? Bradley Effect nullified, thank you very much.

Hated to see the brief 'animal cruelty' portion, but it's also an essential part of the Palin Experience and needed to be included to represent her fully as the dangerous sub-human that she is.

I liked how the Daily Show lampooned McCain's "fiery new stump speech" that was supposed to be his new gamechanger speech... by showing excerpts side by side with his convention speech... one part after another was identical, so much so that it was almost like he was doing a duet with himself.
