We're just wrapping up our 15th year as a progressive voice in the wilderness of conservative darkness. When I started Crooks and Liars I never imagined it would become a vocation. At the time it was a chance to weigh in on the horrors that led up to the Iraq war, but over time it became much, much more.

Along the way, we highlighted the Beltway media’s many failures in refusing to hold George Bush, Dick Cheney and Colin Powell accountable for the many lies they foisted on the public and the UN, including the stupid lie that the WMDs Saddam was harboring would be used to rain down mushroom clouds all across our many cities.

We helped expose those lies then, and we're heading into our 16th year needing to tackle an unprecedented number of lies from the Racist-in-Chief.
