I know I've written a lot about "the surge" of US troops that Bush likely will put into place. As Kos notes, Edwards and Obama have given it the correct label. "Escalate" Are they finally learning something?

When the Vampire, Bill Kristol wants a 2 year surge, he really means an escalation of American forces in Iraq to fulfill his warmongering fantasies. Robert Novak says that McCain's clamoring for more troops is hurting him in the polls. All it will bring is more death and destruction which should be hung around his neck along with Lieberman's. Meanwhile back in Iraq:

BAGHDAD - Three bombs killed 23 Iraqis in Baghdad on Thursday, and the U.S. military announced the deaths of three American soldiers.
