I listen to Rush Limbaugh simply for the sake of “keeping my enemy close.”I have never heard a man so full of bitterness and even more full of himself. He has a desperate need to have people follow him and is surely jealous of Barack Obama, because deep down Limbaugh would love to run for president himself.But he knows that his own background and personal life makes that an impossible dream.So instead he has been doing all that he can to erase Obama from the scene with the only things that he could ; his association with other people, and what they have said or done and not much on Obama himself. This is evident in the obsessive way in which he played excerpts of Rev. Wright, as if he is trying to plant subliminal messages in his listenersAnd even with all of his mean high school girlish interference: Obama is still the nominee, leading in the polls and electorial map, AND WILL BE PRESIDENT!!Wasn’t the goal of so called “operation chaos” for Hillary to be the Nominee so that McCain could beat her in Nov?.. Doesn’t that mean that the operation was a failure? That he was a failure? Now he attacks General Colin Powell...a man whom Rush Lintball is not fit to licks the boots of…well that shows that Rush is really a legend in his own mind. To accuse General Powell of endorsing Obama based on race alone, and not the fact that Mccain has behaved like an old man loosing his marbles, has been running a smear campaign, and has picked a dingbat for VP. These all are very good reasons, and they are the reason Gen Powell gave(in nicer terms).This only proves that Rush Lintball is so eaten up by bitterness, and jealousy that he does not even realize that the accusation makes him look as clueless as Sarah Palin in a Katie Coric interview.,and as desperate as John McCain locked in a tanning booth. What’s really frustrating for Rush is that he knows that he can achieve no higher public position than talk show entertainer/comedian/foghorn…..and never..never president....... AND THE FACT THAT A BLACK MAN WILL BE IS JUST TOO MUCH FOR RUSH..EXPECT HIM TO FALL OFF THE WAGON ANY DAY NOW

Anyone who thinks that Rush doesn't have a problem with President elect Obama being black should bury their head in the sand. I'm sure this is eating him up like a cancer. The song being played, "Barack the Magic Negro" isn't political satire, it's down right racism. Sorry huntergirl,I hate to be the one to inform you but Barack just happens to be a black man! I agree with C.Ann, you have so eloquently documented the problem with Rush. I'm now waiting for these ultra conservative, right-winged radio stations to "Do the Right Thing!" and pull the plug on "Barack the Magic Negro" or face sponsorship boycotting which would be the next logical step.
