Nothing should surprise me at this point, but the more Congress investigates what the Bush administration has done to the Department of Justice, the more disturbing and egregious the revelations become. Not only is there evidence now surfacing that Bradley Schlozman, a senior civil rights official, was hiring people based on their political affiliations, it also appears that he was using the civil rights division of the Justice Department not to help disenfranchised voters, but to supress them even further. Rachel Maddow was on "Countdown" last night to talk about it.
