Ever consider using the blog round-up to do something other than direct traffic to your howlingly un-funny friends like Mr. "Phil Nugent"?? Those pieces read like they were written by a college sophomore for the op-ed page of a student paper. What do they offer in the way of insight or news? The round-up is an important part of C&L, and it is a great opportunity to get readers' attention directed toward important stories they won't see in the MSM. If it turns into a forum for guest-bloggers to plug their friends' sites which offer nothing in the way of news or original commentary, C&L will become a lot less useful in a hurry.
There are hundreds of blogs out there busting a hump to spread information that the media ignores. Try focusing on one of them rather than lame-ass jokes that make the "Half Hour News Hour" seem hilarious in comparison.
That God Delusion piece really pissed me off. That principal is a fucking idiot. I wish she had tried to suspend that kid so the ACLU could have torn her a new one.
;) That mark on Dubya's forehead is actually his third eye! It signifies his level of enlightenment. Yes, it is a little low for a 6th chakra, but notice that it has drifted a little to the left.
