Love is like oxygennn....
i can't believe this is real.
I am surprised he has lasted this long.
Ah shoot! I hated for that to end. I was enjoying the hell out of it.
Thanks SilentPatriot, I really did need that. After the post about the slave labor in Iraq, I was stuck somewhere emotionally between bewildered and ticked off. I needed a good laugh.
Abu has no reason to lie.
America's experiment is over. The constitution is now null and void.
"No, don't do it George!"
Classic!
Stalling. Impeach! Impeach! It's their mess. Don't let them dump it in our laps.
I think that Alberto is highly medicated.
Otherwise how do explain this bulls***?
Not to change the topic, but if you were wondering what happened to Larry Flynt's "list", another John may be about to be named...and yes, it's a Repub!

Check this out. Crap:)
Sad news though. In "REALITY" they weren't able to get Washington to take the gun out of his mouth before he pulled the trigger.
It's true. Washington is dead.
I think this guy likes being a stupid jackass. Its attention getting and of course we know that any attention is better than no attention. I'm sure he thinks all this attention will get him a vice president slot with a republican candidate. I'm sure that Fox news thinks that because they don't cover this, that he will indeed get that vice president slot.
wellwellwell, your link goes to a dead page. Just wanted to let you know :)
His presidential nickname is Fredo.
C'mon.
this was one of the best pieces ever done on the daily show
Loved the bit with Full Metal Jacket and Al Pacino.
It writes itself, Stewart just has to reel it in.
Bit NOLA @ 15:
Geez, I've been calling him Fredo a la The Godfather character.
Leave it to Duhhhhhbya to nickname his PAL AlBERTO "Fredo". Fucking dumb ass!
Cartman @ 10:
There have been a lot of good developments today. If John Boehner was involved in HookerGate, that would be a little too good. Could a major terruh-ist attack be far behind? ;)
Albullshit Gonzalez.
Sen. Roma is actually from New York in the movie. His cousin, Richard Roma, in the play, is the state Senator from Chicago.
Good sh#t John!!!!
This guy is full of bovine scathology
Alberto is simply George Bush's middle finger.
Stewart & the Daily Show on the money again.
Great seg on Gonzo.
Thanks
This segment of the Daily Show was hilarious but it did not even compare to the real thing. This is beyond absurd. I keep thinking that any day now Andy Kaufmann is going to pull his Bush mask off and we'll all think this last 61/2 years was the greatest gag of all time. Oh please....
Biggus Diggus @ 17:
Naaah...the scene for Full Metal Jacket.."the best part of you ran down the crack of your mother's ass...etc etc"
LOLOLOL!
CLASSIC!
I'm not sure all the dead Iraqi people, US soldiers, and tortured secret prison detainees will get the joke.
I'm howling!
Gonzo smelled it but Dubya really dealt it. That was hilarious, the Oxygen was a crowning touch.
LMAO...
Sen Sgt Hartman R- Kentucky...
LmAO
I've said it before, but while Gonzo was ask what were the action of misconduct and then answer that none of the attorney were involve in those action were fired. The job requirement for the attorney under Bush is to be able to comply with the misconduct. If you were caught, then Bush would own you and hold you in his power of blackmailing, and his cronies would benefit from the political favors.
Gonzo been pretty good with the half truth.
Carps @ 25:
good analogy, or is it anal logy?
Who cares if they're found in contempt? It's clear it won't make any difference, because they refuse to respect the law and the population is too meek to do anything about it. What wonderful stewardship of a democracy. Funny piece from Stewart, though.
Should they have R. Lee Emery on as The Big Giant Head?
This clip is from, without any doubt
THE GREATEST
Daily Show
EVER!!!!
"IT LOOKS TO ME LIKE THE BEST PART OF YOU RAN DOWN THE CRACK OF YOUR MOMMA'S ASS AND ENDED UP AS A BROWN STAIN ON THE MATTRESS!"
Gunny Hartman (R. Lee Ermey) could have been talking to anyone in the Bush (league) Administration.
Dr. Acula @ 19:
Can't we get Al Neri to take Fredo fishing?
Cartman @ 10:
Now it becomes clear...Dennis Hastert just announced his retirement. Betcha dollar to a donut he's implicated by Larry Flynt in the DC Madame case.
Crack of yo mama's ass! I liked that last Senator!
Love the way Jon called Gonzo a "prick". He swallowed the word, but it was still crystal clear to me....
That was good! Loved the Srt. Hartman part, one of the most accurate descriptions of Gonzo I have ever heard.
"How tall are you Gonzales?"
"Sir, five foot five, Sir"
"I didn't know that stacked Shit that High!!" "You trying to squeeze an inch in on me?"
He's the AG but he can't answer questions? If this was the Clinton era, they'd all have the torches and pitchforks out.
I weep for the future.
Impeach.
Dr. Acula @ 7:
Nearly fell off the sofa cuz of that bit!
This is one case where reality is stranger than comic fiction! Turn on the tube and no sooner did they announce the Negroponte memo that shows Gonzo is lying than the Director of the FBI who was at those meetings says he's lying too!
I don't know whether to laugh or cry... its hard to tell if this is an investigation any more or a Monty Python skit!
Rimmer's Clone @ 36:
I'm sorry, I can't answer that question.
myiq2xu @ 38:
"Wow we can all go home now! The show is over. The bad guy has lost!......www,wait a minute. He's still our A.G! BLASTED!!!!!
How in the heck is he not being held in contempt???
Worst. Lawyer. Ever.
We are viewing history in the making here, folks, and it sure ain't pretty.
This is fucking incredible. Gonzo - another US disgrace. He's as dishonest and crooked as his boss.
Loved that brown stain comment at the end. That pretty much sums it up.
Big Dan @ 16:
Agreed i was laughing so hard i woke my neighbors. Jon is like a fine wine just keeps getting better with age. Love the visual of the oxygen mask and tank up the trip to bullshit mountain.
wow what a piece of shiet that moron is. he knows that everyone else knows he's a scumbag..yet he still puts himself in a position to reinforce that fact time and time again. does he enjoy making a jackass out of himself? does he want the whole world to know he's a slimy bastard? what a sick...sick...fuck.
"White House Officially Invokes 'Different Program' Hairsplitting Defense." That should be the headline. It's what some of us yesterday said would happen, based on Gonzales' use of the phrase "that the President confirmed" every time he talked about the NSA's warrantless wiretapping program, or so-called "TSP." Check out MSNBC.com, then navigate to Hardball segments "He said, He said" and "Gonzales in Trouble?" to see how Tony Snow invokes this defense exactly as predicted. Tweety doesn't buy it. Neither do constitutional experts Bruce Fein (an arch conservative) and Stanley Brand.
In -any- other country where democracy is at least glancingly practiced, this man would have been booted months ago already.
The way he answers and squirms his way through these sessions is not unheard of. Others have done it. But this is the United States Attorney General. This kind of conduct is beyond the pale. It has gotten so bad that it is actually starting to reflect -very- negatively on the American people.
Having poor public officials is one thing, but allowing them to stay on in the face of such relentless, shameful and scandalous lying, for a man in his position is just absolutely disgraceful. I have never experienced anyone go to these absurde extremes to hold on to his position while -nobody- who is the least bit serious about the justice department believes this man anymore.
And what an example this is: why would you comply with any police officer asking you questions? "I don't recall, officer". "I'm sorry, did you mean I drove 5 miles per hour over the speed limit or that it was my car that appeared to have driven 5 miles per hour over the speed limit? And since scientists are not even sure time itself exists: what do you mean by 'an hour'? Isn't that just an arbitrary interpretation of reality anyway?"
Maybe there's a group of people who think Mr. Gonzales is doing a great job obfuscating his responsibilities but in fact he is making the United States look very, very bad. Why would any nation feel compelled to listen to any US official expounding on the virtues of the rule of law when the Attorney General doesn't seem to care one iota about the law at all? People will be awarded Ph.D.s on the basis of their papers on what this man has done to the law in general and the Constitution in particular.
It is an unimitigated disaster.
Alberto is a freakin republicant! What do you expect
IdiotShrub @ 52:
It sure as hell isn't.
What happened to America, what happened.
Stewart was on fire!
"The person who's job it is to enforce a Contempt of Congress citation: ALBERTO GONZALES!!!"
"NO! Don't do it, George!!! Don't do it!!!"
Simply priceless. Bet yeah, fuh real, lock up all 3 o' them motherfuckers!!!
The Champ is out.
IdiotShrub @ 52:
You goddamn right.
The Champ is out. (again)
