Mike's Blog Round Up
hi, kids, it's friday at the round up, and you know what that means! it's toon time!! (it is, at least, when skippy the bush kangaroo is in charge!)
ted rall takes a look at the war on terror scorecard, while tom tomorrow wonders about some things. get your war on is strangely intrigued by joe lieberman, and minimum security is going green (as in, frogs).
continuing with this week's economic questions, ampersand of alas, a blog asks, how's your insurance coverage? and august j. pollack asks, hows tom delay's plan to defeat illegal immigration?
elayne riggs doesn't write political toons, but she throws parties for editors of 'comicmix'. and likesunday has a new take on pinky and the brain. and of course, we all remember jon swift's wonderful deconstruction of the rightist toon day by day.
a town called dobson prefers the x-games to baseball. dave the rave prefers penguins. mapaghimagsik would prefer not to have a blue dog. and skippy's own brett penrose feels bad for sen. ted stevens.
photoshop toons is da bomb! republic of sestakastan explains how the new fisa rules got passed, and we all love this golden oldie from the poor man institute, keyboard kommando komiks!
that's all for now, kids! be sure to send your tips to skippybkroo at aol dot com, in blogtopia, and yes, i coined that phrase!

john coltrane for president
Thanks for linking cartoons from . Most of the 'toons there (soon it will be all of them, I'm working on it) have Creative Commons licenses, so you're free to use the 'toon itself, not just a link, if you just link back to the Lane. I hope you will continue to look to us for political cartoons. We are working pretty hard at adding talented new artists (two more this week), and to make Left 'Toon Lane a destination for blogs and independent publications looking for cartoons. A few of the artists there will even do "commissioned" 'toons, specific requests to illustrate individual stories. Just go to the Lane to reach the artists that suits your needs.
thanks again, and great suff as always.

Time to go back to the plow
Crap! sorry about that- I somehow screwed up the code. First sentence ends "from Left 'Toon Lane." The rest should NOT be a hyperlink. Sorry.
How's your pension? How's your 401(k)? How's your mortgage? Is it almost time for your interest rate to reset? How's your investment portfolio?
Time to look at the real story behind the Crash of 1929, as presented by Webster Tarpley (British Financial Warfare: 1929, 1931-1933 - How the City of London Created the Great Depression) to find out what is in store for us in the very near future.
I bought one of those new George Bush inflatable Bubbles today. I inflated it, stepped inside it and wow! Now everything looks rosy. We're winning the war. Stock market looks good. It's all great.
pissed off patricia @ 8:
I'd druther get an inflatable Kate Bush.
Skippy, could you be a little more impenetrable with the link descriptions? I could almost tell what one of them was in advance.
I hate to complain but I miss "Holy Crap". The Talibangelicals are always a hoot!
bilhelm-X @ 11:
We'll get that back for ya, Bilhelm.
skippy bothers me
