Isn't she considered the widow of Pat Tillman?
It may be the high road but it's still a bullseye.
“We are in need of authentic leadership on many levels, social, economic and political.”
File this one under: No shit, Sherlock.

"We're going to restore dignity back to the White House" -- GW Bush during 2000 campaign
they (repug commentators) wouldn't dare attack this woman. But in a way I hope they do......cause even some of the 29%s would think that was too much....but then again Cindy Sheehan got attacked...Come to think of it.....they will..I'm sure of it......I wish this woman well and all the best in the future.
"They have not led. We will."
- GW Bush, GOP Convention speech, 2000
What-ever.

What world you living in(no disrespect)? Fucking Hannity, Rush, BillO are salivating at how they can attack her. It'll take Hannity 2 days, Rush a week and BillO will jump on the bandwagon in 2 weeks. To them, she'll be another Cindy Sheehan.

And who would have thought that a life long failure would make such a lousy president.
But Wednesday, Marie Tillman and brother-in-law Alex Garwood, who together lead the Tillman Foundation inspired by his memory, steered clear of discussion about the controversy. They said they were invited by the Clinton School to speak, and Marie Tillman said she believed it would be a good forum to discuss the foundation.
Class, all the way!
Marie Tillman is a smart person. The Foundation that is the Legacy of her husbands moral being does not have to part of the political mess that surrounds his death.
The investigation will continue. Those of us who have followed the case already have an idea of how the situation took place.
It is sad that she should be bothered about this outside the arena of the investigation. The press should question those invovled in the criminal act, and have the respect to leave these private citizens alone.
I could not agree more, Blue. What DIGNITY was restored to the White House?
None that I could see. In fact we lost a whole lot more, since George has been there.
The Tillman has shown such class throughout this whole deal (the raw deal) I always thought our politicians were supposed to be statesmen who you could respect but this family has shown up just about everyone in Washington, our leaders should be ashamed of the way this family has been treated, they deserve to know the truth and they deserve a public apology. in fact they should be given the opportunity to kick George right in the butt.
c-mon Gejo how can you ask "what dignity was restored to the White House?" - that is a simple answer, as any good conservative will tell you they got that awful sex maniac out of the White House and replaced them with good old America business criminals! That's what conservatives like most, good old fashioned business criminals like we had in the 80's, yeah remember all the good things the Reagan criminal gang gave us? a boom in homelessness and unemployment and in the drug activity in America, they gave us stagering defacits and raging debts and tax cuts for the uber-wealthy...ah, makes you all warm and fuzzy don't it?
Look, if the Bushies didn't know the truth about how Tillman died and made a "Conscious decision" to lie about it, there would be NO reason to slap "Exec Privilege" on the documents they have pertaining to his death.
You don't need to be a genius to figure this out.
You DO need to be a total idiot to think that their refusal to hand over those documents would be interpreted any other way.
What do they think...that we might find out that Tillman was shot by "Friendly Fire" and By the way Mr. President we lost a couple of nukes? All in the same email?
Gimme a break, this f**king administration treats everyone like 3 year olds.
...and I'm gonna hold my breath till they start treating us like grown ups! (joke?)
I’m curious if anyone has any idea why Chomsky waited so long after Pat was dead to tell us Tillman was against the War in Iraq?
Wow. Mary Tillman and Cindy Sheehan. What a powerful duo that would be. They might be able to move mountains together. And it would be harder for the repiglicans to attack the two of them at the same time and not been seen the the absolute criminals and liars that they are.
Just a thought.

Get ready for the Republican hit squad. First her husband was fragged. Now its time for Bush and his cronies to assassinate her character...

Actually he was telling the truth if you realize he meant off a cliff.
This poor woman's going to get attacked by the Pajamas Media crowd. I hope she can continue to have the strength to speak truth to power despite the slings and arrows of the mouth-breathers
This past weekend I spoke to a random Vietman vet who has friends, conservative and liberal. I spoke to him re: Pat Tillman and other political things. He told me it's an unspoken fact of war that unpopular commanders have been shot in the back in the midst of war by their "brothers." Wasn't Pat Tillman critical of the Iraq War? Isn't that what this is really about? I had a house-mate who considered me an un-patriot because of my views on the Iraq War. Is it patriotic for him to shoot me in the back for thinking he's a fool and an idiot for blindly supporting the Iraq War?
I don't know that atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered patriots. This is one nation under God.
She's also under subtle attack by C&L. "Pat Tillman's Wife"? How about "Marie Tillman"?
Dude, man, she's cute.
