Email from a Bill O'Reilly fan

bill_angry_sm.jpg The horror. The vitriol that comes from O'Reilly's viewers is appalling. I thought BillO demands civility from his supporters.

Emailer Rob Wilson:

Bill O'Rielly is a great American. You want some answers check out Michael Yon and while you're at it shut the fuck up!
Rob

You can see the O'Reilly influence on this person....

I'm not interested in the comments of a person so intellectually superior to myself - I'll pass . . . .

On a more serious not, can we not use this technique? Using anonymous emails to prove a point really dilutes the debate.

My, what a vile posting. I'm sure if Bill were here it would be scrubbed from the internet.

I'm shocked, I tell ya, shocked! This intellectual powerhouse who calls himself "Rob," can't even spell O'Reilly's name correctly, nor he doesn't have the civilized grace to use the Internet acronym STFU.

Shocked, I tell ya. :)

Heh. "nor does he"

Rob is a bad boy, a naughty boy, a nasty influence.

I wonder if Rob is a member of O'Rielly's D cell battery club? Maybe he has archived Grand Loofah status.

Anyone else get the feeling that Rob isn't the sharpest tool in the shed?

He's such an admirer of O'Reilly, that his spelled his name wrong.

nonbeliever @ 9:

I think he's on the receivng end of O'Reilly's tool

Given the fact that the average age of an oreilly viewer is "almost dead," I'm impressed this fellow managed to fire up a computer to send a vitriolic email. :)

Shut Up!
Bill O'Reilly at his best

shut the fuck up!

He's just pissed that he can't cut your mic.

I suspect Rob spelled O'Reilly's name that way in homage to the master himself, since O'Reilly is sometimes so incoherent that he could easily misspell his own name.

I want Rob's address, so I can go to his house and ask him to STFU!

Mike Yon had the potential to be a serious photo journalist, but then he got corrupted by the repub sound machine and lost his objectivity. Now he is like a talented matt Sanchez , or Gannon, a talented prostitute for the freeper cause...

and its sad, cuz for a while, he was the only reporter under fire that was capturing what was going on on the pointy end of the spear..

"Bill O’Rielly (sic) is a great American..."

OK, I'll bite. He's a great American what? Jackass? Cementhead? Loofah user?

A normal American goes about a normal life.
A good American quietly does what he can to help his fellow man.
A great American makes great sacrifices.

They give away their lifes work, fortunes, and at times their lives.

Bill has yet to make any great sacrifices.

The spelling of O'Reilly's name as "O'Rielly" was a freudian slip. O'Rielly-O'Lielly. Billo's fan knows Billo lies. Knowing that, it says something about them if they are fans of that blow hard.

John,

can you get a snip of today's (BBC America) Top Gear
They had Brian Cox on for a bit of fun and and interview. What was said about American's fearing intelligence is quite funny but also illustrative of how we are pretty much a punch line laughing stock for a great majority of the world.

who is michael yon, and why do i need to go to him for answers?

Sounds like a nice, god fearing, well educated, idiot.

You're absolutely right. And I don't see who this guy saying "shut the fuck up" is much different than much of the anger in several of these comment pages directed towards political opponents.

O'Rielly? Oh, really?

Lern to spel.

You should really be making that guy's email address public:) There are a lot of really disgusting internet porn sites that I think he should join...assuming he's not a member already.

So what else is new? Don't you guys have something more important to cover than giving more publicity to theses ass holes? I'm getting real bored here.

Was that a pink falafel he was using to destroy the pyramid?

How old is the kid who wrote that e-mail? 9 or 10?

Poor guy who has the O'Reilly STFU and the Hannity "Great American" brainwash...

Another great part of this was when oreilly said "They all watch The Factor"! :D

He's the funniest kind of racist bastard that thinks he's totally cool.

oo! oo! How do you get to "Grand Loofah" status?

Does Billo himself then demonstrate the proper use of a falafal sandwich in the shower during a perverted sexual encounter? Does he also demonstrate how to play with "pipes?"

Any truth to the rumor that O'Reilly's radio show is being cancelled? Heard that on Stephanie Miller's show.

If true, that might have his fans all worked up in a rabid froth.
*

the O'Reillyite sees daddy every weekday at 8pm. He has Cheetos in his baby bottle

Considering the level of literacy of this guy, he probably really is an O'Reilly fan. Now if he had to remove his dentures to spit tobacky into his trailer-house pontoon when he said "shut the fuck up!", I would say his standing is confirmed.

If BOR has atomic breath like Goshzilla shouldn't he be classified as a WMD?

You realize, of course, that Rob comes from well up the intelligence bell curve of O'reilly's viewership. The only thing that stops you from being inundated by their e-mails is their functional and computer illiteracy for which we may all be thankful. The loyalty of his viewership is at least partly explained by their inability to master the tv remote.

I wonder how many times GWB posts here and we don't know about?

I'm betting Fox did most of the paying.

I think Rob should STFU, or we'll cut his keyboard!

Robin @ 45:

He uses a laptop to cut coke on. He wouldn't know what else to do with it. Post? He's barely literate.

What the heck is a "great American" anyway? What does that mean?
a)Someone who honors the constitution?
b)Someone who has does something to uplift the country and it's people?
c)Someone just born in the U.S.?

I guess it's just the lamest thing to me for someone to use that phrase. How about a "great person" instead?

Not that his truly is either one...although c) might actually be correct but that's about it...(and that goes for a large majority)

We truly are surrounded by idiots.

I have this image in my head.
It comes from some years ago at camp. We were firing different high power rifles into close range targets, about say 30 meters. A plastic 2 liter container full of water explodes violently when hit with a .223 caliber AR-18. The M1 Garand does the same thing only with more violence. Both rifles do pack some serious kick so you best have the dam thing planted solidly on your shoulder. Incredibly powerful, very loud and awesome destruction these weapons have.
On Friday here in the US we did have another "incident". Of all places, Logan Airport.

http://www.cnn.com/2...

The incident was dutifully picked up by media who once again advanced the meme of "post 911 world". At the press conference the cops said "She is lucky she complied with our instructions, otherwise she would be in the morgue". Jay Sevrein jumped upon the story citing how "normal" and "justified" the police were in their actions and some even questioned why the police did not "shoot first and ask questions later". Such bravado in the name of "security".

The "news" footage also featured state police toting some of the very same weapons I outlined before. My concern is that in a crowded setting such as an airport who is to say these bullets don't pass through five people in addition to their target.

Grateful Iraqis are not knocking at my door carrying tanks of gas at 50 cents.
My daughter thinks my mother is cheap because they scared the living shit out of her with a seven year "lookback" nursing home entrance crap. My 20 year career is shit because nobody can make anything in the US.
I have the receipt for my first doctor's office visit co-pay plus a bill for the very same co-pay from Guido's Health Insurance Company.

So in conclusion do I support the police in their ever increasing fascistic persuits in the war on terra?

I most certainly do not. Security has not and should not be the very soul of America.

my bad "its", no apostrophe needed...

I LOVE the picture. I wouldn't get too bent out of shape about the e-mailers. I've said much much MUCH worse. I know I shouldn't but... sometimes I just can't help myself.

Robin @ 45:

Watch for atrocious spelling, words like: "nuk-U-lar" and "terra-iss", unintelligable syntax, and incoherent metaphors (which sometimes cause outrage). That'll be Geo.

Robin @ 45:

You really think he knows how to use the interweb machine? He probably still thinks it's a dump truck.

It's sometimes needed.

Here's what Mark Twian says about the word "American" :
"There isn't a single human charcteristic then can be safely labeled "American". There isn't a single human ambition, or religious trend, or drift of thought, or peculiarity of education, or code of principles, or breed of folley, or style of conversation, or preference for a particular subject for discussion, or form of legs or trunk or head or face or expression or complexion, or gait, or dress, or manners, or disposition, or any other human detail, inside or outside, that can be rationally be generalized as "American."
I guess that blows Hannity's little cocky phrase "He's a great American" right out of the water !

Yes, that pedophile defender is a good American...

Lasthoseman @ 50 said:

Patrick Henry said, "Give me liberty, or give me death." That's the soul of America. Contrast that with our modern-day bed-wetting neocon fear-mongers who crave security at the cost of liberty because they fear death so much.

LEAVE BILL O'RIELLY ALONE!!
He's a HUMAN!*
And a Great American!

Leave Bill O'Rielly alone, RIGHT NOW!
Puhlease.

If anyone has a problem with Bill O'Rielly, you deal with ME!
Leave him alone!!!

At times you want John to pull a Malkin because these people are so stupid and just don't realize it, but we are better than that.

Oh wait. Rob may be on to something. May BillO is a great American! It could be that we several million who think that he is at least as stupid and offensive as Rob are wrong! Who'd a thot?

Hear hear, Lasthoseman @ 50 !

Bill O’Rielly is a great American

So great that he hates the ACLU, a group that fights for everything America is supposed to stand for.

Art Pufkin @ 54:

You really think he knows how to use the interweb machine? He probably still thinks it's a dump truck.

Hey, he's used The Google

on The Internets

And he got an "A" in cutting taxes and responsibly spending the people's money.

He said so.

He is a dump truck.

You know, there's no words for that BS. But, in all fairness, there are whites on the left who have the same attitude, which stems more from ignorance and isolation then it does racism. Alot of white people only get their education about their other minorities from a snippet of a rap song on a news channel, or a comedy show, or watching BET. And the closest live encounter with a person of color might be behind a cash register or pushing a container full of industrial cleaning supplies.

Maybe the Senate needs to work on another faux outrage condemnation bait n switch bill . . . oh they only do that to nonfascists, don't they? Lucky you Rob, you little twat!

If he's such a great American, why was he an unpatriotic draft-dodger hiding out in England when he should have been serving in the military?

See, there's no words for that bullshit. But, in all fairness, there's a fair share of whites that are liberal/left wing that have the same attitude, which stems from ignorance and isolation from other cultures then it does racism. In this instance, political leanings have little to do with his stupidity.

freaktown @ 26:

who is michael yon, and why do i need to go to him for answers?

I don't know who Michael Yon is either but apparently Rob Wilson knows that Bill O'Reilly doesn't have any straight answers either so Rob is pointing everyone away from him.

Ack! Sorry about the double posts everyone, I thought the first one didn't go through. I guess Safari doesn't agree with the comments software. :(

Funny that he can't even spell the same of this "great American" correctly. Which confirms what I've thought for a long time: Bush supporters are either morons or perverts--in O'Falafel case, he's both.

Thanks for the laughs that you inspired Rob!
While you're at it STFU!

What is the point of this post?

The kind of response received is pretty much indicative of the general behaviour displayed by the minions on "both sides" of the political spectrum.

I've recommended Crooks & Liars to many people as a great source of information, but sadly it seems to be devolving at a rapid pace. Nicole Belle's ridiculously imbecilic post about Bush's Mandela comment was the icing on the cake.

Move on, nothing to see here anymore.

F_ _ _ YOU ROB!

John -

thanks for again pointing out how weird, wacky and unhinged the far right is.

Downunder in Australia our household watches Bill on Faux News purely for laughs.
It can be very entertaining to watch someone so ignorant telling the masses how we should all think.

By the way , people often blame Australia for giving Rupert Murdoch & Fox to the world but many of you may not realise he handed back his Australian citizenship years ago to become an American citizen.
...& I'm still waiting for the promise of that $20 barrel of oil that Murdoch used as one of the main reasons on why his media organisations around the world pushed so hard for the war in Iraq.

Bill just called me long distance to complain that Crooks and Liars is "a crooked liar." He says everyone who blogs on C&L or posts a comment dissing Arbusto is a pinhead who ought to be tasered, "not that it would do any good. Hey, I've been tasered before, and only wimps can't take being tasered." I said, "Yeah, but you know, that's 50 thousand volts zapping you!" Bill replied, "Are you a wimp, too?" I said, "No, I'm just a pinhead." Sometimes I think Bill gets all his epithets from old Tod Browning movies.

I see Orally is still pissing in his 'no-spin' cups before shipping;in case you were wondering what kind of Kool-Aid he passes out.
