Buck Naked Politics spends a Sunday in the Park with George Bush.

Orcinus, Sisyphus Shrugged and Roger Ailes think that maybe Matthew Shepard has been bashed enough.

That old-time religion: Higgaion on a teacher fired for questioning Genesis and The Smirking Chimp on the Theology of the American Empire.

Circle Jerk in the Square reports on Bill O'Reilly's visit to a Chinatown restaurant.

Driftglass presents The Adventures of Sgt. Iraq.

This was the last Blog Round Up hosted by noted conservative blogger Jon Swift. Tomorrow Steve from The Opinion Mill is hosting. Send your tips to Steve at steve.theopinionmill [at] gmail [dot] com. I want to thank everyone here at Crooks & Liars for being such great hosts and all the readers and commenters, even the ones who mercilessly attacked me. In fact, I think I'll miss you most of all. Have a piece of schadenfreude pie on me. And thank you also to everyone who sent me tips and my apologies if I didn't get to yours. Whatever Atrios might think, your blogs don't suck.

Are we going to wait for our police to start shooting the journalists and citizens in the streets, or should we start acting now to take control of our destiny.

that's not Burma.....Burma will survive their dictatorial regime....

but that IS what the US is all about. they wreak death and destruction in many countries on a daily basis and the next stop is their own.

feel safe yet?

Are we going to wait for our police to start shooting the journalists and citizens in the streets, or should we start acting now to take control of our destiny.

No need to wait, its already started. We need a national reconciliation. I would pick the starting point to be the death of JFK and how that further transformed our republic into a puppet of global corporate empire.

Google Howard Krongard who is the inspector general and is accused of spiking investigations into government contracting fraud. Then notice that is brother Buzzy is CEO of the CIA. Then notice that Buzzy ran the bank that made the put options on Airline stocks shortly before 9/11. Then notice that bank used to be Brown Brothers Harriman who were accused of financing the Nazi industrial base. There you will find Prescott Bush, Alan Dulles, LBJ, E Howard Hunt, Henry Kissinger and on and on and on.

Any one of us could write a earth shattering article just using the resources available to us on the internet and yet no MSM outlet will go there.

I'm not naive . . . I know why . . . but unless we dredge up our past to see how we got from there to here, we will not be able to move forward and solve critical issues that may determine whether our species is able to survive on this big rock flying around the sun.

I noticed earlier you had my blog linked under the "It’s My Right To Be Left of Center" link and not Dusty. No big issue or complaint. I'm just curious how that happened. Glad it's fixed. I have a different video up than Dusty. Did you find me via a google search?

From the brainwashed zombies at CONSERVAPEDIA:

Matthew Shepard
From Conservapedia
Jump to: navigation, search
Matthew Shepard (1976-1998) was an American college student from Wyoming. On October 7th, 1998, he was savagely beaten and robbed by two men, and died on October 12th. The killers were heavily involved in drugs and had met Shepard in a bar, giving him a ride afterwards.

A misguided defense of one of the killers tried to make an issue of Shepard's homosexuality. In fact, at least one of Shepard's killers admitted in an interview on 20/20 that money and drugs motivated their actions that night, not hatred of gays."[1]

It was homosexual activists who converted this drug-related killing into a so-called "hate crime." They claimed even before the details of the crime were known that the murder was due to anti-gay bias. One the crime was discovered, Shepard's friends "were calling the County Attorney's office, they were calling the media and indicating Matthew Shepard is gay and we don't want the fact that he is gay to go unnoticed."[1]

Ever since Shepard's death it has been cited by homosexual activists to promote legislation to classify attacks against homosexuals as a hate crime that would be punished more severely than a crime against a heterosexual. All legislation, both in Wyoming and on the national level, has failed, but under Democratic leadership the U.S. House of Representatives passed a hate crimes bill in 2007.[2] President George W. Bush has vowed to veto it.

Sob. You're leaving? Thanks for putting your "conservative brain" on the chooping block. I learned you're not all bad, and not every black drinks m-f--king ice tea, that Asians can drive, and math is hard for everyone. I'm still reading stuff from Miss Cellania's pages. Useful and entertaining.

I always get lucky at those Eschaton blogroll parties. Just don't accept a drink from anyone who says they can introduce you to Ben Bernanke.

Thanks for the interesting posts this week. Now I need to get started on that Schadenfreude Pie. I'm having friends over later who I took to the cleaners playing poker on Friday and I feel a need to gloat.

Here is a link to a different video of the killing of the Japanese journalist that Nate posted to his site. I'm very sorry for the mixup.
