Tonight on Countdown Staff Sgt. Brian McGough, who appeared in the latest Vote Vets Ad, talked with Keith Olbermann about Rush Limbaugh's latest attack on him and our troops by comparing him to a suicide bomber. McGough makes no bones about his feelings toward the cowardly Limbaugh and his disgusting statement, telling Keith: "it makes me mad down to a place where I can't even think to describe."

As Christy puts it, el Rushbo kicked the wrong hornets nest by going after Vote Vets. We're going to hammer on him continuously as long as he continues this rabid assault on our troops and veterans. Rush accused Vote Vets of manipulating Staff Sgt. McGough into doing the ad, but Brian McGough is clearly in control of his faculties, a state of mind which I think Rush is no longer acquainted with.
I don't want to ask him to be kicked off Armed Forces Radio. What I wan is want equal, progressive (re: SANE) representation on AFR, even if it is a blowhard like Ed Schultz. Then I would like AFR's actual audience, once they have the heard a voice of reason and real support, to demand that his pimpled arse is kicked off the air so high and hard that he and his entire staff have to wipe their butts by flossing their teeth!

Rush is very popular on Armed Forces Radio. He has a pretty large fan base among the military; just like in civilian life. Bottom line...millions of Americans adore Rush Limbaugh and millions hate his guts. That's showbiz.

As an aside to this thread. It is my understanding there will be another protest march against the war in Iraq on 15 October in Washington DC so check it out and tell everyone who will listen, friends family and strangers. There will be Vets involved in this protest like the one that happened in mid September. This march needs even more participants than the tens of thousands who walked in the last one. Massive numbers of people is a way of getting the mainstream news to give the attention deserved for this cause. So go to the march on the 15th and don't forget if your group is going by bus they will need a permit to enter the city center and it may take a week to process so keep that in mind and tell everyone !!!

The problem with the perpetuation of this story (and many others) is that people come in and out of the issue...read/watch/listen to bits and pieces of what is going on and them COMMENT on what they think they know. Any thinking person familiar with the history of the blowhard coward LIMBAUGH is aware that he will back track/lie/revise to cover his fat ass. Like many Repugs the truth has no meaning for him. I believe Rush does have a military award; its the Purple Rectum Medal for avoiding service due to an anorectal cyst. I think he can even talk through his rectum; which is another first.

I used to listen to him ten years ago, just to try and understand how someone could believe the things he says, his listeners NEVER questions anything he tells them, ever.
