Rudy Giuliani's BFF was just indicted by a federal grand jury!
A FEDERAL GRAND JURY HAS VOTED TO INDICT EX-N.Y. CITY POLICE COMMISSIONER BERNARD KERIK ON CHARGES STEMMING FROM TAX EVASION AND CORRUPTION ALLEGATIONS, SOURCES TELL ABC NEWS.
And to think Rudy recommended him to Bush to replace Tom Ridge as secretary of Homelamd security.

He was. In December 2004, George W. Bush nominated Kerik as Secretary of Homeland Security. A week later, Kerik withdrew his acceptance, explaining that he had employed an illegal immigrant as a nanny.

This whole sordid mess highlights how Giuliani is just like Bush in a scary way: For him, personal loyalty seems to trump every consideration of competence or even decency.
Kerik today is a multimillionaire, the result of a lucrative partnership with former New York Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani and a profitable relationship with a stun-gun manufacturer.

Guiliani is by far the best candidate we have right now...who else could be so entertaining on an almost daily basis? This guy has me belly laughing...
But then I think about how much I laughed at the prospect of the Dim Son becoming president in 2000 - but I'm not laughing about that anymore!
Yeah, Kerik is no doubt a "both sides of the street kinda guy". His indictment on the surface isn't really damaging to Guilliani, but if Kerik has the goods on Rudy, then that's a different story. And make no mistake about it Kerik will FLIP in a HEARBEAT if he can save his worthless ass - and to hell with Guilliani!! This looks to me exactly what is going to happen and Rudy is sweating bullets you can believe that. Don't be surprised if Kerik pulls a staged suicide, or gets hit by a car...or somehow ends up "swimming with the fishes". Yeah, you guessed it - more than likely Kerik is a dead man walking!
This just confirms that Rudy IS the best GOP candidate. He embraces all of their dishonest ethics, when he's not embracing his buttbuddies.

Unfortunately if you only disclose one simple fact and purposely leave out 90 % of the allegations and facts , it's easy to SPECULATE not much of a blow back . Not that we expect CNN to report in depth on anything , unless its constant speculation about How negative Hillary Clinton is polling . Did i say they spend more time SPECULATING then presenting FACTS . But hay there's that nauseating Jeannie Moss and her annoying voice providing some of her daily comic relief .
What cnn " news " FAILED to mention as ( we'll as the daily deaths of Palestinians at the hands of Israeli troops in GAZA , they are covering up ) , they failed to mention ........
Kerik started as Gulliani's DRIVER and BODY GUARD over nine years ago . See the picture changing ALREADY. You hire a body guard , either not knowing who he is or not caring and thinking he's a good partner in what ever needs to be done .

What's the problem? Commissioner Kerik would run Homeland Security from a secure location in any case.

I am certain that is the strategy. good ol Pat Robertson endorsed rudy, so you have some good people going after Keric in an attempt to get at Rudy. Rudy's woes are just beginning me thinks. He will be swimming in his own excrement soon.
Bush can pardon him on the way out and Ghouliani can name him as his running mate.
Good thing (even though I disagree with paying Federal Income tax) that he allegedly cheated on him taxes, or else he would have never been indicted. The tax man doesn't play around, the IRS has even gone after the FBI and other government organizations for not paying their taxes.

I turned on the tube last night and what was there, but Bernie himself. It was an 1999 story about how BK cleaned up Rikers Island jail by hardening up the tactics. I am wonder how the timing for the schedualing of the show (on MSNBC, I think) was so close to the indictment and how many more times it will run before the trial starts?

Fwiw, Rudy is intrinsically a sleazy guy... he's just been able to fool some of the people some of the time.

This is so true...Kerik loved FIRING NYC police officers / taking away their Pensions / & ultimately ruining their lives. He abused his power in so many ways & he "got off" on breaking PO's down. He's a DISGRACE & SHOULD ROT IN HELL 4EVER. I can't wait to VISIT HIM IN JAIL and ask him how the cell walls look.
