I'm a Canadian that works south of the border pretty frequently. I see Fox News on TV sets all the time with the volume turned down. The effectiveness of this accidental flashing of Hillary in the middle of this particular story is VASTLY increased when the volume is turned down and people are just watching the ticker and the banner at the bottom - say, while they sit in the airport or at a restaurant. Play it without the volume and experience the degree to which it associates Hillary with the story. Why was the background, font and banner a perfect match for the story? Did they have a story with the same graphical theme on Hillary later in the show?
Okay...this does not impact me so much (I'm 70 years old and will be dead before too long) but I do wonder about my kids and grandkids being subjected to more and more of this outright, in-your-face subliminal so-called news. Every time I see the attacks on Clinton and then turn to my favorite, in this case C&L, site to witness the Republican handy work in process, I hope it is not beyond the Democratic Party to reconfirm their primary objective: We need to get these Republican war mongers out of office. Since when did we destroy our front runner for the Republicans for their choice of who they would rather run against?

I'm a Canadian that works south of the border pretty frequently. I see Fox News on TV sets all the time with the volume turned down. The effectiveness of this accidental flashing of Hillary in the middle of this particular story is VASTLY increased when the volume is turned down and people are just watching the ticker and the banner at the bottom - say, while they sit in the airport or at a restaurant. Play it without the volume and experience the degree to which it associates Hillary with the story. Why was the background, font and banner a perfect match for the story? Did they have a story with the same graphical theme on Hillary later in the show?
Unfortunately, we get this crap up here, too.

Okay...this does not impact me so much (I'm 70 years old and will be dead before too long) but I do wonder about my kids and grandkids being subjected to more and more of this outright, in-your-face subliminal so-called news. Sorry but when "mistakes" happen against the "opposition's" favor every time, there's more going on and it's not always coincidental.
I'm not sayin' this one is intentional, but when amassed, the "mistakes" should be near 50/50 in terms of which "side" they favor.
God help FOX and Rupert Murdoch if the FCC is ever restored to integrity.
