Mitt Romney fired the landscaping firm after a story by the Boston Globe revealed that the firm still employed illegal immigrants. The Globe did a "gotcha" story a year ago about the landscaping firm employing illegal immigrants and doing work for Romney. The inference was that it was somehow Romney's responsibility who the company employed. I disagree with just about everything that he and his fellow republicans stand for and put forth, but I value the truth and there is just too little of it today.

What's a 'living wage'? Should the guy who cuts your grass make as much as a teacher? A cop? Walmart workers don't make a 'living wage' and yet Walmart never seems to have any trouble finding employees. Farmers in CA tried paying something like $15-20 and hour to pick fruit and people came one day and didn't return the next b/c it was too hard and too hot (I'll try to find the link). so, I disagree that it is horseshit
