Mark Halperin WRU?
Lucianne is a pig. Period.
Self righteous assholes.
This is going to get oh so ugly
Of course the right wing noise machine and their shills in the MSM are just getting started. If there is one thing that the MSM stands for it's the status quo. Pundits, newsreaders and bloviators will do all in their power to promote St. McCain at the expense of the Democratic nominee. By November they will have many of the public believing that a vote for Obama is either a vote for Osama or Willie Horton.
Well at least it doesn't look like a boy-scout meeting, sans clothes.
I don't understand how that is going to hurt him. White males in America are now a minority. Women have never been known (most) for being outrageously racist, and there is a huge population of nonwhites now. If anything, this will help him, not hurt him.
I am watching this with humorous fascination, because this type of electioneering would never happen in Canada.
People who think this is cute wouldn't vote for Clinton either.
Get ready to beat down some rednecks.
Quite frankly, I'm surprised it took this long.
Growing up where I did I was very lucky to be spared a lot of irrational racism. It still shocks me that there is a huge population if ignorant pigs that think this way.
I swear, do we need a good alien invasion for the planet to stop taking their anger out on each other?
Obviously, this whole sordid mess is offensive.
BUT
That caption IS funny.
Good. Let them out themselves as the bigots they are, and push even MORE people toward Obama.
I work with a Republican who said he would not be going to FoxNews.com any longer because of the 1) their article on the turban picture, and 2) the incredibly ignorant and racist comments posted on the site, which made him realize he didn't want to be associated with their other visitors.
Add some ropes and it could be the republican convention
BOOYA!
i welcome this kind of crap. it's horrible and disgusting but at least we are shown what certain people actually are in reality.
i think a lot of conservatives will be turned off by this crap too. perhaps it will make them rethink what kind of people they get behind.
I have to ask myself, "Self, is this all they got?"
I answer, "Yep, that's it; get ready for the permanent Democratic Majority".
Hopefully, there will be a mass exodus of racists, rednecks and Bushes to some South American country on the route blazed by escaping Nazis.
From the Los Angeles Times:
Am I the only one reading between the lines here :)
Marcus Aurelius @ 8:
I will help in that beat down.
Filthy Harry:
Yours is even funnier!
excellent. Let the racist nutters piss off the republican middle and push them right toward obama. this kind of unveiled racist crap will only appeal to the 27% deatheaters -- preaching to the choir -- and push the moderate republicans (the ones with a more than 5th grade educational career) away from the ugliness and to the dems. or not to vote at all. a win / win situation.
can't wait for Hussein X’s first act in office[:] free Mumia and appoint him as the first official Secretary of the Kill Whitey Department
http://www.sadlyno.com/archives/8847.html
Let the Republican morons bring it on.
On the lucianne.com website the caption reads; Obama inaugural ball as pictured by unnamed Clinton staff members.
What else would you expect from the party of the self hating closeted homosexual racists?
Lucianne and her spawn from hell will go the way of the dinosaur. Their time is over. It doesn't matter who they attack, they are playing to a shrinking base. If anything this attack will help Obama in that it will push people who may be straddling the fence to just say ENOUGH!
I remember the times she was on c-span with Brian Lamb. She is nothing but a cheap back-yard gossip. And Brian was enjoying every minute of it.
If this is the delegation from what country, I know not, invite them in as honored guests.
Otherwise, what is the point here. What do these fascists think President Obama will be doing.
He will be a responsible President, something that has been sorely lacking for seven years and counting.
Fascists!!!
How curious...their caption for the above pic now reads...
2009 Inaugural, as imagined by unnamed Clinton staffers
link
An interesting conversation on the page that Lucianne got the photo from:
http://sweetness-light.com/archive/obama-wore-muslim-gear-during-kenya-trip
All sorts of paranoia over whether or not "B Hussein O" is secretly a muslim hellbent on killing us all - or if he's just a black-supremacist hellbent on killing us all. Very enlightening stuff from a site called "Sweetness and Light".
you've gotta admit, its pretty damn funny!!!
look at it this way, even the reight-wingers knows obama will be the next prez. they have already conceded the fact without elections even having taken place yet.
Bison @ 14:
No, and there may be some basis for it. Try to chart out the "emotional moments" in the HRC campaign.
We'll see your true colors shining through...
Not nearly as amusing as the propaganda pics of shmuckabee and his hideous family.
ConcernedCanuck @ 6:
White males aren't a statistical or power minority in this country.
Monie @ 14:
Northeast corner of Paraguay, where the Monnies have been buying enormous acreage, and the Bush's swear they aren't as well.
I'm not worried by this racist tripe. Far from it. The Republicans won't vote our way in any case. This crap won't motivate Republicans to vote against us. It will motivate Democrats. So bring it. This is the best they got? You know, a Republican told me that Obama would never have been the head of the law review at Harvard if he weren't black, and I asked him the last time he was accepted into Harvard Law School.
The only way this crap can hurt us is if he run scared and get sheepish and defensive. So far Obama's response has been pitch perfect.
I say "Bring it".
We're on our way to a permanent and unshakable Democratic national politic.
The majority of Americans renounce this kind of racist bullshit, and the bigoted wackos will be forever
relegated to fringe hate groups (i.e. Conservative political blogs).
El Cid @ 20:
Something did occur to me.........want to know who is REALLY the most "Reaganesque" (the positive aspects, not the Alzheirmers)? Barak Hussein Obama. Didn't they call Reagan "The Teflon President" because nothing would stick to him? Barak has the same sort of thing going on.
V V
RUMOR HAS IT.... THAT OBAMA HAS HAD A BLACK BABY
Paul in Boca @ 3:
You can say THAT again.
bill t @ 18:
Word.
Just tried to register with Lucianne to comment. She tells me she's closed, and not accepting new posters. Typical. They're just a bunch of incestuous koolaid-flavored-bathwater-drinking cowards.
They changed teh caption on their site: smart move.
emerald @ 21:
I notice "the editor" of that site won't allow its "users" to post comments to the picture. After having read some of the comments on that site "the editor" has made a wise choice! They are the rednecks we need to "beat down". Why do they insist on calling Obama "Hussein"? We don't call Shrub Walker or Bumz Limbaugh by his middle name, Rush, do we?
Lucianne is just jealous that she's not that skinny.
Hardcore righwingers would love nothing more that a race war in this country (just before the Rapture, of course). Ya think we'll hear about this on the tv tonight? Maybe Olbermann's WP...
Big Dick Cheney @ 36:
2, in fact.
YOU EDITED THE CAPTION????
I like to think C&L is giving me the straight dope on media, but when you edit a caption from another blog WTF? dude that doesn't engender much confidence.
the actual caption reads:
The 2009 Inaugural, as imagined by unnamed Clinton staffers.
TOTALLY DIFFERENT CONTEXT. i.e. it's satirizing Clinton staff for heavy handed practices (inappropriate - maybe but you changed the context to be a racist slur by lucianne.com only).
wait now people here are claiming Lucianne.com changed the caption... oops, I think!
MoDMaN @ 45:
No. Lucianne et al. edited the caption, realizing how toxic what they wrote was. Get better information.
Here it comes…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nmpx68FAW20
And here's a clip from Them's fan group:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcV78KE38J4&feature=related
TOTALLY DIFFERENT CONTEXT. i.e. it’s satirizing Clinton staff for heavy handed practices (inappropriate - maybe but you changed the context to be a racist slur by lucianne.com only).
And Michael Richards was just satirizing Eddie Murphy.
Idiot.
Bison @ 15:
LibertyLover @ 42:
She just wants a black man.
Forgive me for going off topic but I may be off the computer any minute. According to the local tv channel, Miami and all of Dade county is without power. Broward county is without power as is much of Palm Beach County. and part of the county I live in is without power here in Florida. Seems there is some major problem and Florida Power and Light doesn't know yet what has happened. I'm not thinking terror, I'm thinking overload. Our weather here today is in the 80's.
As for the redneck attack, I think Obama can handle it. I'm sure he has dealt with assholes in his life and I think he can deal with a few more.
Yeehaw! Quick, somebody put up a picture of this for John Mc....Oh, never mind. We're way better than that. These racist, xenophobic pigs are hardly worth the effort it takes to despise them. My apologies to all the four-legged pigs out there, I know it's a terrible thing to be compared to right-wing racist nutsacks.
Krackonis @ 5:
MoDMaN @ 45:
C&L have often been accused of being Hillary haters. If they did edit, I can't blame them. Someone would start making more accusations.
Liberal AND Proud @ 51:
Are you SURE?
LibertyLover @ 55:
That she wants a MAN?
I must confess that I originally was a Hillary supporter because I didn't think Obama had a chance(although I believed him to be the best overall candidate) and I knew the avalanche of bigotry would be mind boggling. After the Clinton Show in South Carolina, I changed my allegiance to Obama. This Presidential election will embarrassingly expose the U.S. as the world leader in the practice of institutionalized racism.
I personally would much rather have an inaugural ball with some African tribes, than the hillbilly redneck extravaganza that W treated us to the last two inaugurations.
Correction: it's not "going to get" ugly. It's already ugly.
Now the true nature of the GOP will be revealed for all to see.
They won't have a registered black voter in the GOP by the time this is over.
Stupid Git @ 26:
Obviously you preferred Hillary Clinton's team's explanation for putting the picture out in the first place yesterday.
The racist 'Here it comes..." started there; not on the Republican side.
I'm sure Hillary will clear it all up tonight.
This is the kind of stuff that's being shrugged off everywhere as "cartoonishly evil," ridiculous, not happening, and yet, here it is.
I used to be a republican. How do you think that feels?
I'm rather looking forward to the Republican inaugural party: http://cache.eb.com/eb/image?id=91424&rendTypeId=4
Carly Corday @ 62:
Welcome back from the Dark Side.
Just in case: MrPelicano@63 = /snark/
Carly Corday @ 62:
Y'know, I used to have lots of republican friends. It's just not the republican party that you grew up with anymore.
Liberal AND Proud @ 60:
They will still have Larry Elder, Michael Steele and a few others that we see on the talk shows giving their expert opinions.
What is the source of that tripe?
Caption on CNN...
Tonite..."Is the media biased in favor of Barack Obama?"...with Wolf Blitzer.
Liberal AND Proud @ 60:
The main misconception is that there is a racial divide in this country. That is what the people at the top bank on; divide and conquer at its finest. The divide in this country is mainly of the economic and class kind, period. That is why GOPers scream bloody murder all that "class warfare" crap, because if anyone was to frame our predicaments in the correct context; that indeed we are engaged in class warfare. Their asses would be exposed for anyone to see.
Trust me, there will be plenty of wealthy minorities registering Republican no matter how racist, demeaning, and low brow the attacks of the Repug machinery become.
Remember that money and wealth come before anything, including ethnicity and family, in the scale of allegiances for some people, esp. of for the GOP persuasion ones.
“Sure, I look like a white man. But my heart is as black as anyone's here.”
George Wallace quote
The classic quote depicting the right wing view of tolerance.
The GOP has been dense for decades.
Did they really think we would write this off as simply a reference to the outfit Obama wore once?
Is Steve Gilbert Encyclopedia Brown, supermarket tabloid detective extraordinaire or something?
Running Obama is a huge mistake.
The Dude @ 70:
I hear what you're saying...and even agree to a point.
But this is the Presidency we are talking about. When the GOP starts basically shouting "N*gger"...and they will...they will be challenging their black membership to go along with it. I'm not so sure they will agree this time.
When Jesse Jackson ran...there were lots of blacks that simply didn't like him. That is not so true this time around. Obama is not devisive...as Jackson was...and he has all of Jackson's charisma.
Nope...not so easy this time.
getalife@74 - You say that as if Mr. Obama was Secretariat at the Preakness. Is the track too muddy or the jockey too heavy or what?
Let me tell you it will be down and dirty. And let me add we just need to be ready to fight fire with fire. Old, Insane McCain. Senile already. Would you want senile dementia with a finger on the nukes, etc. Aren't there stories about his actually having cracked in Vietnam and given information to the commies. I've heard he's got some kind of brown kid he fathered. He also dumped his first wife who stuck with him during the war and jumped on a rich, blonde sugar-tit automaton. Psst, psst, I've heard he's way past unstable.
And if you're too squeamish and don't want to play this way, you can welcome the Insane McCain Fascist Inaugural in 2009.
Gotugye @ 4:
Bullshit! Not this time. I keep hearing this same thing over and over on this site...Not gonna happen. There's no WAY McBain is ever gonna get elected. I don't care who he's running against.
This Lucianne people are referring to, is that Lucianne Goldberg, the Nazi pig that encouranged Linda Tripp to break the law, to try to bring down a sitting president, when she wasn't spawning that tongue and brain deficient son Jonah?
I say "Bring it on." For too long the Repugs have had it both ways: not the party *of* racism, just the party all the racists vote for. I think this election will clarify things.
What is wrong with Africans? From my experience, they are good-hearted, compassionate, friendly, hard working and family oriented. Republican values, are they not?
Rush Limbaugh has a bunch of Obama "commercials" he's airing and fake bill Clinton remarks commenting on Obama. For two minutes I thought I was listening to KKK radio .
They're trying to make the racist fight take place between Hillary and Obama while they can by feeding this crap into the mainstream now.
The Drudge site posting on the Obama pic looks like a Karl Rove set-up. Rove operatives faked that "email from a Clinton staffer" and neither campaign picked up on it–both are blaming each other.
Seems like Rove can play everybody like suckers and still, nobody gets it. wtf.
Reminds me of when the Clinton's took all the "W" keys off the keyboards when they left the White House before bush moved in. Karl Rove said so, so I believe him.
We are finally gonna have the debate this country should have had YEARS ago.
It IS about direction...and the kind of people that we want to be.
Now we really DO find out if the Constitution is just a piece of paper.
getalife @ 74:
Should have signed, Sincerely KKK
“Segregation now, segregation tomorrow and segregation forever!”
George Wallace quote
theWalrus @ 49:
I have to agree, I'm an idiot for not knowing that the original had been changed, my bad.
I would much rather have these people at the next inaugural ball then the filthy trash that was at the last one.
I wonder how African American conservatives feel about this? Somebody should point out to them that their party clearly feels that they should be ashamed of their ancestry. Oh, right, if they've already drank enough kool aid they'll say that it's only the Clintons who are making race an issue. Keep telling yourselves that.
getalife @ 74:
No it's not, he beats the crap out of McCain in head to head polls. Hillary is the one we can't really risk, since she'll get a 50/50 and the Republican "Vote Fixin Posse" will take care of a tie.
What the hell...who did this? How can this be combated efficiently and quickly?
I hope Olbermann shows this tonight.
Any inaugural ball should be so lucky to have such beautiful group of people attend it. The outfits are stunning! Anyone who could look at that picture and think different has something wrong with their asethetic sense along with much else.
The Dude @ 58:
No shit!
I'm tired of rednecks running this country (into the ground!).
getalife @ 74:
Is that a threat?
felicia @ 80:
Don't you mean "What is wrong with Republicans?"
Check out this Obama Widget:
The Pocket Barack-itizer
It's a compact web thingy with info and links about Obama.
felicia @ 80:
I think this is wonderful !!! As a black man, I find the photo beautiful. Don't you? Quite frankly, I am proud of what is happening with the election.
That's one Inaugural Ball that I would love to attend!
(the pic)
I just love differrent cultures.
If you don't have a passport, I would suggest that you go to the find a mirror and tell the person that you see there to get over your little ol' self and...
"get a life"...
Earth is NOT just "Amerika"!
Granted the multi-national corporations are doing their best to make it so.
Back to the Ghost Dance
so you guys post 4 or 5 threads on un proven stuff on McCain but your complaining about attacks on O'Bambi
Brian @ 88:
What would he say? We are ashame of being from Africa? Don't fall for this. Its nothing.
It can't be defended against. You retaliate! Let's just have some picures of McCain throwing a temper tantrum, nostruls all flared and foam-spittle at the corners of his lips.
Krackonis @ 5:
At least it doesn't involve the sadistic killing of a stray puppydog or getting too drunk to drive home, sleeping over, and forcing yourself on your innocently snoring same-sex bunk mate. We like our balls kinda formal, compared to the "likes" of some.
Try this link for an image of the inauguration on Jan. 20, 2001.

T. Gray @ 89:
On behalf of a proud African citizen. THANK YOU!!!
You did not fall for the trap.
I predict the populace is going to get very bored with straight racist attacks. We have changed that much.
They just want Obama or someone close to get emotionally outraged. So far Obama and his camp are incredibley disciplined.
Bullshit! I bet I can find plenty of patriotic Americans, maybe some on this site who would be prepared to come forward and offer corroboration for these facts. Even better prove they are not true.
Watching the evolution of attacks on Obama only convinces me more what a solid candidate he is. It's almost like the attacks are becoming parodies of themselves. The attacks actually started out substantive - his lack of experience, cockiness, etc. but all those things have been overcome. Now we're on to tribal costumes, cult worshipers, and flag lapel pins. What's happened is the establishment, media and right wing have been left scratching their heads as to why this man doesn't have more skeltons in his closet. If he does have more skelotons in his closet, they belong to his tribal outfit.
See it's as easy as that.
It's offensive on two levels: first, the implication that Obama is somehow "tribal" or otherwise uncivilized.
The second offense is the implication that Africans themselves are uncivilized, primitive people. Chances are quite good that, away from the festival in the picture, the people shown wear the same clothing and do the same kinds of jobs that most blue-collar Americans do (only for far less pay, thanks neocolonialism!). It's like using Mardi Gras images to tar a candidate from Louisiana. In fact, I'm not even sure the people shown are from the same ethnic cluster as Obama's paternal family; I'd have to do some digging to confirm it, but I feel pretty sure about that. But hey, it's okay, because all Africans, well, they're the same, right?
The irony is that, unlike the right-wing pundits, the people in that picture probably speak several languages, and have a deep and abiding respect for radically different cultural backgrounds, which is kind of necessary if you're anywhere near the Swahili Coast. Were it that the wingnuts were half as civilized as the subjects in the photo they use for mockery.
SteveinSC @ 76:
POW-MIA activists hate-hate-hate John McCain, and can list his every despicable senate vote that flushed their cause down the toilet. It's too easy for me to believe whatever I hear (bad) about McCain while he was a POW. Impossible NOT to, really. I can't help it. Everything about him smells of pig. Not rumors. Reality.
I think you are missing the important point here. The right wing is now using a new technique. It's kinda like FOX's "some people say" sourcing technique. Now we have "unnamed source in Clinton's campaign". Whether or not it is from someone in their campaign or not--you can source it to whoever you want and then say you can't reveal who it was because you have to protect your source. Just wait til the general election. I will bet you hamburgers you will see lots of "unnamed sources in Obama's campaign" making inflamatory comments about McCain. Of course, they will be comments that make the alleged source look bad, not McCain. Mark my words...
greg @ 93:
Thank you. The photo is quite beautiful, and depicts a rich cultual tradition. Everyone in America should be proud for accepting and embracing the cultural diversity of the world.
I saw one of your right wing radio hosts on stage with john mccain. He could not stop saying barrack obamas full name. If Barrack Obama were running for member of parliment in my riding in Canada I would not give a flying f*** what his middle name is. For anyones information the first Jewish MP in Canada was sworn in with his hand on the talmund. This happened in the Parliment of Lower Canada(Quebec) in the early 1800's, and he was elected by a catholic majority.
You guys need to get a grip
greg @ 96:
Sure. And if you ran a photo of a nursing home's dementia unit with the caption "McCain's Inaugural?", that would be cool, cause he's really old and old people lose their minds and that's nothing to be ashamed of, right?
mirror @ 101:
I agree...Obama is one man they won't be able to fool so easily. I think the other side...the wicked, dark and twisted side...you know...the Rovians, I think they're gonna blink before Obama. There's entirely too much at stake here to let Rove and his cronies fuck things up.
I hope that is the inaugural ball. Fuckabuncha lily white social climbers and child-molesters standing around waiting to shake the hand of the man. Black is beautiful bitches, in case you haven't heard.
HONEST QUESTION: Did Hillary's campaign really send Drudge etc a picture of Obama in Muslim or African clothes?
I can't get any definitive news about the issue...
The Guardian says: Clinton aides claim Obama photo wasn't intended as a smear
while other papers are even more ambiguous.
Thank you in advance for any help
the pic comes from a lib website with no link to anything, except a caption stating "as inmagined by clinton staffers"
this is a misleading story
come on john, you can do much better
Joementum @ 110:
What can you do about it. You don't get it. I don't find this offensive. You may but I don't. I know what they are trying to do but I am above this. I find it offensive that you find this offensive. When Obama ran, I was expecting this. THIS WILL NOT STOP US. See previous observations below.

I am SO glad that the racial abyss is there waiting for the most cretinous of the reactionary Right. Run with the racist angle, guys! You GO with that!
I am completely confident that racism will be rejected by the American populace. I think there is a multigenerational divide between the elderly fools who think race baiting has any appeal at all, and generations of post-civil-rights citizens who have mixed-race families, neighborhoods, and workplaces, and who will find racist attacks as appealing as a turd in a punchbowl.
Serve me no scare-stories about die-hard won't-vote-Obama racists. Each of them has a batch of kids and grandkids who will find racism an absurd and disconnected means of trying to influence an election.
unfrozencaveman @ 103:
"Tribal" is a useless word. Its very invocation is an insult to Africans. It reduces complex societies to colonial parodies. It suggests primitiveness. Avoid it.
See this for more: http://www.africa.upenn.edu/afrfocus/afrifocus010808.html
The irony is that as we seek to uphold the dignity and humanity of people, we often unwittingly buy into the paradigms (aka "frames") used to destroy it.
It 's not just the right - it's Hillary supporters too
Selling out big time - Clinton shill: Obama's a foreigner

Hi PoP - we've got power here at the office in Broward.
Republicans are amateur racists compared to the professional vicious attacks against Obama coming from the Clinton camp.

EUREIKA - YOU GOT IT.
America is growing up like no other country!! Be proud, this is what patriotism is about.
abob @ 120:
Jealous?
Fuck em. Democratic voter turn out has been about 4 or 5 to 1 Rethuglican in the primaries and will continue on that way untill the final vote in the general election is cast. It is because of bullshit like this and the Clintons' games, the public is lashing back and making their voting and viewer voices heard that we won't stand for it anymore. This noise only works on those in the Rong-wing's echo chamber and they're a lost cause anyway.
ysbaddaden @ 121:
Thats funny. See, I can take a laugh. Ha, ha, ha,
The party of hate, fear, smear, intolerance, division, bigotry, scandals, hypocricy deficits, wars and recession.
What are we? 12? Are the Republicans really this childish?
Have any of them progressed from beyond high school?
I doubt it.
And if the Republican wins there will be an inaugural with white men in white hooded sheets totin bibles and crosses.
A guy I work with thinks this is funny:
They'll have to rename the White House.
This speaks volumes about the GOP and their base. The only interaction they have with Blacks is what they see in National Geographic and on MTV, ESPN, or Cops. No wonder Barack Obama, Kofi Annan and Nelson Mandela scare the shit out of them.
I hate to be the troll here, but I have to say: That would be the best inaugural ball evah!
Hello all,
I am not offended by any of the pictures of any elected offiicial in any cultural dress. It shows respect for a culture other than your own (if you are exhibiting the proper attitude). I for one want a president that shows some semblance, some cognition that we are world citizens as well as US citizens. We need to show more respect for other countries starting now.
My favorite part is how they try to pin it on "unnamed Clinton staffers." They should at least have the nuts to accept responsibility for their own bigotry.
#70
Give the dude his prize.
The only reason just a li'l of this Obama "hope" has rubbed off on me is that he seems malleable. More than likely he will win the election & be quickly absorbed into the Financial-Security complex as had happened every time before now. But i see the slight possibility that he can be "turned" as it were by the net-/grass- roots that makes up so much of his support into that leader of the vanguard of Socialist transformation we so sorely need. The "uniting the country/crossing party-lines" thing is just a fancy speech unless the country is united in a grand leftward movement. I know i get a little too Revolutionary for some "progressives" that only want progress up to a certain point, so remember the words of John Maynard Keynes to FDR during what i've concluded was a very similar time:
"You have made yourself the trustee for those in every country who seek to mend the evils of our condition by reasoned experiment within the framework of the existing social system. If you fail, rational change will be gravely prejudiced throughout the world, leaving orthodoxy and revolution to fight it out."
Jusker @ 129:
Why would the White House have to be renamed? Oh wait... he was making a joke. I bet he and his backyard wrestling friends find those animals blooper shows hilarious; or have Dog the Bounty Hunter viewing parties.
Yes, advertisers, you too can reach this prime demographic.
Wow. I went to Lucianne.com and tried to registered and got this message:
Registration is currently closed and not accepting new members.
I never looked at a right wing website and it is quite interesting. Its like the opposite of this site.
Which one is Hillary?
ysbaddaden @ 50:
just come out and say it dammit!
any of you guys ever pass a bowling ball? LOL

I saw the original caption yesterday.
ever think the MSM is trying to keep people depressed so they'll sit around and watch TV between trips to the mall where they buy things to try and make themselves feel better?
Dr. Acula @ 119:
Hiya Floridites!
They said it was some power line malfunction out in the swamp, near alligator alley...Still gots power in the keys!
Jo-Ann McAuliffe @ 139:
While I'm no fan of Hillary, I do think she is WAY above such tactics. This has Rove written ALL OVER IT!
Beelzebub in '08 @ 10:
Not even close.
Sophomoric is a more apt label. It's the kind of utter stupidity that passes for humor inclubs worked by comedians who couldn't get a job shoveling cowshit in a barn let alone entertaining adults.
That said, the right wing might just win over some of Gen Y with this sort of dreck.
While Hillary supporters warned this would happen to Obama sooner or later, the Obama supporter cheered as she took hit after hit from a media that let their man slide. Join the party folks, guess who's time has come to pay the piper. Better grab some salve, you will need it to soothe the wounds about to be inflicted by a needy press, and the throngs of right wing zealots ready to pounce. You can't stop it, you can only hope his veneer is thick enough to withstand the stoning he is about to endure.
Welcome to the games, let's see if you enjoy it as much as you did when Hillary was taking it from the press and "your" man.
yellow dog @ 143:
It's funny in the same way Fox's Half Hour News Hour was -- which is not at all.
This whole thing is going to play out like Blazing Saddles.
There's stupid political shit everywhere on the net. Why are we acknowledging this again?
Why does society give the time of day to people shrilling about Obama and his African robe?
Didn't I read in one of the Blogs (What was its name?) that the GOP is worried about being percieved as racist?
This is not the way to camouflage that fact.
The ZEN of Politics -
I looked at this picture and thought, "Stupid Right wing assholes" Then I thought about the stories of the wiseman who was upset when the fool was banished from the town. "Who will we learn from" he said.
Try standing on your head (OK not literally) and looking at the picture again. These are people, perhaps royalty in their village. The right winger wants you to look at this and be disgusted. I've choosen to see the beauty.
Who would not want royaly at their inaugural ball. Taken in that context, this picture loses anything sting that was intended. Beauty is in the beholder and I find it beautiful. Thanks right wingers!
This is the path I believe Barack will walk down to the presidency!!!
