Colbert to Presidential Candidates: Learn how to condescend better!
As a big fan of being condescended to, Stephen knows how its done, and he's got some advice to give the Presidential candidates for when they're courting "small town" voters.

Word!
If this is all the dirt they can dig up on Obama, I'll take it.
Better than McSame's banging of female lobbyists.
You mean 'Go Fuck Yourself' is no longer a good enough approch??
Isn't Colbert going to have Clinton on his show later this week?
Colbert is soooooo good!!!
anyone know a link that will let us stream the debate live tonight. even just audio would be nice.
The good news is that the keys to survival are in our hands, we know how to do things better. but the bad news is that doing things better means deposing an entrenched elite and the belief system that keeps it entrenched.
...doing things better means deposing an entrenched elite...
An 'entrenched elite'? What entrenched elite? what elite?? If ONLY well-educated, articulate, thoughtful, creative people WERE entrenched in the policymaking business, instead of the plethora of braindead no-hopers and morally crippled vampires like Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rove, Rumsfeld, the list just goes on and on. WHERE the hell are these 'entrenched elite' you speak of?
Please, let's all hunt 'em down, dig 'em out, and put 'em where they might do some good - Washington.
This was a thing of beauty!
Ricky, I'm sorry I can't help you. Hopefully someone will live blog it. Try checking Firedoglake or Kos
Obama said exactly what he wanted to say.
who is putting on the damn debate. Not CNN? Not MSNBC? I just looked at the networks and it is not listed. Where is it going to be on. I heard Keith say to watch it on the network that is showing it and when it is over come to MSNBC to figure out what they said ;)
Ok, it's on ABC. Probably be able to see it at ABC.com or something like that.
I agree with Colbert about Obama.
It's 3 am, you need a 7-10 split to save the country, who do you call?
Obama?
I don't think so.
But, I am confident the "straight-talk express" can roll one straight and true.
