Limbaugh gets pwnd by caller over Operation Chaos and his wishing for a 'Riot' over Dem nomination. Calls her a 'mush head.'

The dream end of this is that this keeps up to the convention and we have a replay of Chicago 1968 with burning cars, protests, fires, literal riots, and all of that. That's that's the objective here."
This jerk is asking for violence in the streets and the blood to flow. Responding to this lunacy today---Rush Limbaugh had to cut off the phone on caller Lisa after she slammed him over his racist and hateful comments that he made about hoping for "riots" in America.
During today's show (4/23) Rush made the statement that he is dreaming/hoping for riots after the Dems convention if they choose Hillary over Obama. He even sang his statment to the "I'm Dreaming of a "WHITE" Christmas" tune. It appears to me that he is hoping African-Americans will revolt if Obama doesn't win and in his dreams we would riot and wipe each other out so that he can indeed have a "white" Christmas/country.
And he said this also: "Riots in Denver, the Democrat Convention would see to it that we don't elect Democrats," Limbaugh said during Wednesday's radio broadcast. He then went on to say that's the best thing that could happen to the country.

Lisa: Why does this have to be a hate-filled comment from you and other radio hosts?

Rush: Well, you're picking a selective moment. How often do you listen to the show?
Lisa: I listen almost every day.
Rush: You do?
Lisa: Yes I do. So I was a bit surprised should I say shocked that you were so blatant with that comment.
Rush: I've made the comment before.
Lisa: Who wishes for riots, who wants that to happen in this country?
Rush: Who wishes for riots? I didn't get the ball rolling, it is Democrats like Al Sharpton that there will be....
Lisa: Rush.
Rush: You need to be calling Rev. Sharpton...

He had enough and ended the call. She forced him to blame Al Sharpton and then called her a "mush mind." That's real intelligent discussion, folks. I was waiting for him to call her a poopy head or something. See, he got caught making a fool of himself and knew it, so he stumbled through that call.
Sure, it's all the liberals fault that this country is so screwed up. Heck, we've had the White House since 2000...Oh, sorry, I forgot that Limbaugh and his conservative cronies have run the country into the ground and never lifted a finger to do anything to stop it. Rush and BushCo. only ushered in and then enabled its demise. And he was the head cheerleader of the conservative meltdown. At least he helped expose the country to the destructive principles and practices we receive as a nation led by Conservatives.

The answer to your question is No. If he were to say lets go riot right now, then yes they could charge him because it presents a clear and present danger. But, if he says let's go riot at (future time), then no, because you have a chance to think about it and let cooler heads prevail, and then it does not present a clear and "Present" danger because all risk is in the future and can't instantaneously incite mob action.

I'm an older white guy and for my whole life I've never figured out why race is such an important topic. I've always treated people for *who* they are and not what they are and that seems so simple and normal. Why is race such an important issue?

The conservative right wants to flip the switch in regards to racism, in order to bring about the day when they can condescend in code, and enact the way of thinking that would make these acts all "in jest". You see the same tactic with Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, Neal Boortz, Michael Savage, etc. These individuals are unable to get past their insecurities, and instead try to frame and project the rest of their outlook to their unfortunate listeners.
Unfortunately, it all deteriorates from there. The seemingly astute observations about Republicans wanting minorities to gain self-determinism to help individuals achieve their inner potential, instead of relying on the government's teat, dissolves under further commentary by these mentally sick individuals.
You see many posters like them, they cannot help but tie many of the world's problems to the issues of illegal immigration (Mexicans), government waste (Blacks), terrorism (Brown's), all the while compromising the very real problems of those issues. So their solutions and insight are all suspicious reasoning.
This caller called Rush on it, and he couldn't answer the real question. Contrast it with other commentary that individuals like him cannot help but "joke" about. At this point, use your common sense, and you'll see his ugly figure as you should.

I was wondering if that caller was really a Federal District Attorney. If Rush would of admitted that he was making a racial comment; they could push the hate crime legislation against him. The way the laws are written it would be easier to slam him with the hate crime rather than the inciting a riot part. In order to get him for inciting a riot, a riot has to actually occur; but, to charge him with a hate crime, the riot doesn't actually have to happen.

i think local is the way to go. maybe boycott and wave signs at the local stations themselves- they were instrumental in selling the bush/iraq lies and will be instrumental in selling iran lies and obama swiftboating. there are very few times when a caller gets through who can disagree with him for any length of time. contacting his national headquarters or parent co is useless.
every state has stations nearby who fill the local airwaves with his lies, distortions, racism, sexism, and global warming denial. often it is the biggest station in the state and a bunch of smaller ones and they usually use local sponsors who can be called and talked to. often they sign on with a package as opposed to his particular time slot and arent aware, or say they arent aware that their ad was on during his show. but his stations are usually the ones people have to turn on to get the local sports or weather or traffic. a point can be made- why would anyone want to buy from guys like him and hannity- they've been wrong about EVERYTHING of importance. the managers argue he's an entertainer but his stations are basically the power centers of the GOP, giving a 20% minority a 50% voice. they also talk about the market wants limbaugh but he was heavily subsidized for years and the monopoly they have is used to shut out any opposition even though the progressives have proven very competitive in many markets. and much may be covered as free speech but coordinated uncontested repetition of GOP talking points/lies/propaganda to 50-70 MIL have a huge detrimental effect on our democracy.

Good point, CD. If the proffered definition of Christian had been "one who tries to follow the teachings of Christ," then there's no question, many people are Christians and Limbaugh ain't one of 'em.
What Limbaugh is advocating is a class D felony in the state of Indiana. In fact, his mere advocacy of it is a crime. I urge anyone in Indiana who knows of a Republican who does this to gather evidence of their past voting records or political positions and turn them in to the police.
