This Week with George Stephanopoulos marks the passing of pioneer comedian George Carlin, fast food entrepreneur Wilbur Hardee and costume designer Kermit Love as well as 20 service members killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
According to icasualties.org, the total casualty count for Iraq is now 4,427 and per IBC, there were 178 Iraqi civilians killed during that same time period.

we are losing
Who would have thought occupying a hostile nation would be difficult? How could you expect anyone to plan for such contingencies?
twenty dead in the two wars last week and the injures are not listed.

With all due respect to the icasualties website, I suspect that the number of actual dead in that illegal enterprise is much, much higher than what they quote.
So many destroyed lives and yet the killing continues ... it is truly sad and depressing that so many innocent people have suffered and died because of the actions of the criminals in your government.

That's the total coalition fatalities, not the total casualties, which includes killed and wounded. According to icasualties, there have been 34,091 American casualties in Iraq.
My condolences to Mr. Hardee's family. I know nothing about him and he was probably well intentioned. But you can hardly call what he produced "food" and he is responsible for an incredible amount of animal cruelty.
