19 ...? good God ...

Usually the local news around her tries to make any connection it can to the bigger world, like something was made here, or somebody famous was here once, or whatever. The other day, the news announced that Army PFC Daniel J Rivera, 22, of Rochester, NY, was killed, and would have been coming home shortly for the Thanksgiving holiday.

So very sad.

22 year olds ... very sad indeed.

To us these men and women are just names but just think to others they were someone's father, mother, brother, sister, aunt or uncle etc. So sad to be gone so soon for no reason.

I also look at the names of these small towns , most of which I've never heard of ... and think God, what a huge loss to that place ....

and Afghans killed. Hey, how about the 134 Iraqis killed in today's suicide bombings? Finally, an hour of TW that would be worth watching(??)

by some counts its easily over 1 million ... thats a lot of Cialis airtime ..

Do you really think the media is going to shed a tear of remembrance to anyone who isn't a white all-around wholesome real american?
