UPDATE: Hickox will be released Monday.

That is where Kaci Hickox is imprisoned for the next three weeks, barring some legal intervention by the courts. And Governor Chris Christie is just fine with that. Not only is he fine with it, he's swaggering all over social media telling every critic to pound sand up their ass if they don't like it.

Because he's a Real Man Who Leads By Bullying. Governor Cuomo backed down a little bit and said he would agree to home isolation and monitoring, but Chris Christie? Yeah, not so much.

Oooh. What a leader he is. Look what he and the New Jersey Department of Public Health think is appropriate for Kaci Hickox. Hickox, by the way, is a resident of Maine. But of course, Paul LePage is another one of those who leads by bullying, and I'm sure he let Christie know she wasn't welcome home to his state either.

Kaci Hickox now has lawyers. This is a good thing. Let's hope they can get this to court and get some restoration of her constitutional rights.

I hope she doesn't develop symptoms, but as long as she is asymptomatic she has every right to expect her liberty just like any other American citizen.

Meanwhile, just so we can all remember why she went to Africa in the first place, another image:
