We can add Laura Ingraham's name to the list of right wingers who are butthurt over President Obama's speech at the National Prayer Breakfast this Thursday. Heaven forbid we've got a president who believes that America is not the only "exceptional" country in the world. Doesn't he know he's supposed to start every speech he gives by chanting "USA! USA! USA!"?

Here's more from Fox's blog: Ingraham: 'Obama Always Has to Lecture Us - It's in His DNA' :

Laura Ingraham weighed in this afternoon on President Obama's comments about violence in the name of religion at the National Prayer Breakfast.

Two days after a Jordanian pilot was burned alive by ISIS terrorists, the president compared the atrocities to violence committed by Christians in the Crusades.

And he said Christ was also used as a justification for slavery and racial discrimination in the United States.

“Humanity has been grappling with these questions throughout human history. Unless we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ. In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ," the president said.

Ingraham said on "The Real Story" that the president expressed some "malicious ignorance" with his historical references.

She questioned why Obama will not simply say "ISIS is evil" and that we have to stamp it out.

"He always has to lecture us. It's something in his DNA. He has to lecture America about our evil misdeeds. We have to do penance for the past, which is mired in evil," Ingraham said.
