You may remember this clown guy as the one who threatened to throw a reporter off a balcony at the senate rotunda. Despite being under indictment, Grimm easily won re-election last fall, before stepping down after pleading guilty a few months later.

Former Staten Island Congressman Michael Grimm was sentenced Friday to eight months in prison.

He pled guilty to one count of tax evasion in December.

Grimm will also be subject to one year of supervised release and 200 hours of community service.

In Brooklyn federal court, the judge told Grimm that his moral compass "needs some reorientation."

Grimm said he cheated on his taxes because he wasn't able to keep his Manhattan health restaurant afloat otherwise.
