Well, the sun was shining the last few days but the temperatures hovered around 15 °F. Today it inched up to around 25 °F and it felt like a heatwave. Sun isn't out though. Monochrome indeed.

Influenced by Krautrock, ambiance, Brian Eno and some skewered ideas of what pop hooks are, Thomas Leer and Robert Rental laid these tracks down throughout 1978 and '79 on an 8 track machine that was loaned to them by Throbbing Gristle's Genesis P Orridge. The final result sounds just as interesting today as it was when it was originally released.
