This week, Trump issued a pre-solicitation notice for contractors interested in building his new border wall. This notice is listed under the Customs and Border Protection label on www.fbo.gov, a website for any business interested in contracting with the U.S. government.

According to the listing, the actual solicitation will be open on March 8, 2017. The bidding will be done in two phases:

Phase I - Concept and design is due on March 20, 2017.
Phase II - Concept, with details and cost is due on May 3, 2017.

Specifically, the pre-solicitation calls for several prototypes for "wall structures." It is to be made of concrete, "nominally" 30 feet tall, anti-climbing, and able to resist "tampering and damage."

Regardless that a wall already exists and that immigration is at a negative, Trump is attempting to go forward with his disgraceful wall that will only cost tax payers billions. You can view the document here.
