Video Of Rep. Wilson's FBI Building Dedication Proves Gen. Kelly Lied
October 20, 2017

The Sun Sentinel released the full video of Frederica Wilson's dedication speech in 2015 to the new FBI building, showing conclusive proof that Gen. John Kelly lied to the entire world yesterday while he tried to smear her reputation.

After Rep. Wilson told the press how callous, uninformed and destructive Trumps' phone call was to the grieving widow of La David Johnson, Trump began attacking her credibility and honesty, repeatedly claiming he didn't say the things he said to Mrs. Johnson.

Trump then said he had proof against her and said he'd reveal it if she repeated her claims. Rep. Wilson went on "The View" and didn't back down, telling Trump if he has proof to "bring it on."

Trump's proof apparently was to send John Kelly out to the press, admit that Trump did say the words he denied saying and then go on a vicious and dehumanizing rant against her.

Trump's chief of staff joined Sarah Huckabee Sanders during the White House press briefing on Thursday to use some of his time to impart a much rehearsed speech designed to make it look like the Congresswoman is an awful person.

During his attacks on her credibility, Kelly discussed how FBI agents were killed in the line of duty and how a building was named after their sacrifice that Frederica Wilson attended and said this:

Kelly said, "And a Congresswoman stood up, and in a long tradition of empty barrels making the most noise, stood up there in all of that and talked about how she was instrumental in getting the funding for that building and how she took care of her constituents because she got the money, and she just called up President Obama, and on that phone call, he gave the money, the $20 million, to build the building, and she sat down, and we were stunned, stunned that she'd done it. Even for someone that is that empty a barrel, we were stunned."

He further claimed, "But you know, none of us went to the press and criticized."

That's right, General. You couldn't go to the press because she didn't say any of the words you alleged she uttered. You can't criticize something that never happened and act like it did.

The South Florida Sun Sentinel posted exclusive video on their website today and said Kelly "misrepresented a 2015 speech she made at the opening of a new FBI building."

In other words, he lied.

Rep. Wilson was on with CNN earlier today to rebuke his nasty attacks on her character.

"I heard his remarks and I heard him say that I bragged that I secured the money for the building of the FBI building in Miramar. And that's a lie," Wilson said.

"I was not even in Congress in 2009 when the money for the building was secured. So that's a lie. How dare he? However, I named the building at the behest of Director Comey, with the help of Speaker Boehner, working across party lines. So he didn't tell the truth, and he needs to stop telling lies on me."

Yesterday, I characterized Kelly's performance as 'Rudy Giuliani-like,' since she was asked by the family to be there when the call came, but after his lies about her FBI building speech, I'd say his transformation is complete.

Gen. Kelly's words were calculated and well rehearsed. He didn't misspeak. He openly lied and then feigned faux outrage over their bogus story.

Trump's decision to politicize the way presidents offer condolences to family members that have lost their loved ones to massage his ego has turned into a pit of darkened acid. and they're all burning in it.
