Trump Makes Another Pathetic Attempt To Bribe Voters Ahead Of Midterms

Here we go again. Even MAGA isn't buying his bullshit anymore.

As we already discussed here, Trump's pathetic attempt to bribe his way out of a blue wave already backfired spectacularly. Now he's doubling down on the $5K bribe, and has promised a new one to boot: Trump promises another round of checks before the midterms:

President Donald Trump on Friday announced plans to send “nearly $100" checks to more than 20 million seniors on Medicare, his latest pledge to send voters money before a critical slate of midterm elections in November.

“I pledged to protect and preserve Medicare and Social Security, which were on the verge of RUIN by Joe Biden, who foolishly and maliciously let tens of millions of Illegal Aliens into our Country, and we are doing just that for America’s Seniors,” he wrote in a post on Truth Social. The checks, Trump said, would “help pay for their Medicare Part B premiums.” Funding would come from the Medicare Improvement Fund, which the president panned as “a pointless ‘Slush Fund’ that has only been used by Dumocrats in Congress to pay for the Waste, Fraud, and Abuse for their Special Interest friends, and drive up Healthcare costs.”

On Friday night, Trump announced that his administration would "immediately" start sending "Checks" of "nearly $100" to more than 20 million seniors to help cover Medicare Part B premiums. He also repeated his promise of a "$5,000 Trump Dividend" for every citizen "if, and when, the Republicans win the Midterm Elections!"

Many replies came from his own supporters, and they weren't happy.

"$100 won't even fill up my tank dumba--," wrote @madammespeaker. In April, the same account urged Trump to nominate Jeanine Pirro as attorney general.

@AaronLoo, a self-described machinist from northwest New Jersey who has reposted claims that Joe Biden stole the 2020 election, called it "a f---ing joke."

"Promises=Lies," he added.

@Abbybaby1, an account run by a Scottish expat in Nashville who once reposted a call to put Trump "back in office now," didn't buy it either.

"This is a joke right? Our Medicare is going up! And $100 really??" she wrote.

And more came in as they reported.

He also received a brutal community note on Xitter for the video above, which he posted this Saturday.

He thinks we're all as stupid as he is.
