Responding to critics of the DOJ sending a thousand "election monitors" to polling stations during the midterms," Atty. Gen. Todd Blanche claimed the DOJ has been doing it since the 60s and Senators should instead thank God they are doing it.
Sen. Tammy Baldwin is, "introducing a new bill to protect voters from intimidation or interference by federal agents at polling locations called the Safe Access to the Polls Act."
Blanche was on Fox News Sunday today and received no pushback for many of his answers.

Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin has said this about the upcoming election. She says our democracy demands or depends on Americans being able to show up at the ballot box and have their voices heard.
But that's all at risk this November as President Trump openly weighs sending in armed federal agents to our schools, churches, fire stations and other polling locations.
So what exactly is the plan? Who are these monitors gonna be?
And how do you answer critics who say it's about intimidation?
BLANCHE: I wish that the senators that are in the congressmen that are saying this fear of fear-mongering false statements would just not do that.
It's not fair to the American people.
This is clearly meant to intimidate voters at polling stations.
It's not fair to the American people that the DOJ is acting like Trump's henchmen to intimidate voters. Demented Donald has tried everything he and his AI team could think of to make it harder for US citizens to vote.
"What these senators should be saying is thank God is thank God that we have a government that's ready to show up..." Blanche said.
Nobody wants Trump thugs to show up at polling stations.
"They're not going to Democrat states they're going to every state to make sure that our elections are carried out legally fairly and appropriately," Blanche said.
Of course these DOJ agents aren't going to Democratic states because Republicans have no chance to win any seats back or gain new seats there.
Their primary focus will be battleground states and cities that were once red and are now toss-ups so they can interfere and intimidate.
How can these agents make sure voting is done legally unless they racially profile people entering poling stations?
This is clearly meant to intimidate voters.
