After a quick presser on his tax plan, Trump, once again denied that he said the things Rep. Wilson told the press about his call with Sgt. La David T. Johnson's grieving widow.
When he finished talking about the administration's tax policies, the press asked about his call to Sgt. La David T. Johnson's widow.
"I did not say what that Congresswoman said, didn't say it at all, she knows it and she now is not saying it, " Trump said.
He continued, "I did not say what she said and I'd like her to make the statement again because I did not say what she said. I had a very nice conversation with the woman, with the wife, who is sounded like a lovely woman. Did not say what the Congresswoman said, and most people aren't too surprised to hear that."
Trump can't even remember "the woman, the wife's" name.
"What's your next move, Mr. President?"
"Let her make her statement again and then you'll find out."
Rep. Wilson's comments are out there in print and on cable TV news multiple times already so why threaten her to repeat her remarks again?
Rep. Wilson replied again to Trump via Twitter.
And she's appearing on The View, so I'll assume she'll repeat the statement again.
This is another distraction from the fact that Trump and the Republican Congress are getting nothing done on healthcare (except destruction), taxes, the budget, or anything else.
And that there is a war going on in Niger in which it appears that US troops were put in unnecessary danger. And it took Trump TWELVE DAYS to acknowledge the ultimate sacrifice from the four soldiers. And no one in the Republican Congress is willing to look into this and investigate it.
How many hundreds of hours on Benghazi to make Hillary's poll numbers go down? I guess Trump's poll numbers are at the lowest they can go, given that 35 percent of Americans responding are Fox News Zombies.
While un-doing everything Obama did, don't forget that Trump is also actually doing all the things he falsely accused Hillary Clinton of doing. Risking American security with private email servers, abandoning Americans serving overseas, dismissing military service, and being Putin's puppet.
He must go.
