Doug Mastriano, the Republican gubernatorial candidate for Pennsylvania, weighed in on what he would ban from the state's schools, even though they aren't a thing with educators. It's like the Critical Race Theory pearl clutching with conservatives even though CRT isn't taught in schools.

Republicans have pounced on creating culture wars, and this is just more of the same. Mastriano described many of the ways "woke is broke" if he's elected.

"On day one, the sexualization of our kids, pole dancing, and all this other crap that's going on will be forbidden in our schools," Mastriano says while on stage at an event, a remark which garnered applause.

The Trump-backed Pennsylvania Republican also said he would ban "graphic, pornographic books that are in elementary schools" and critical race theory. Oh, there's that Critical Race Theory again. Doug is hitting all of the imaginary targets.

Mastriano also vowed to ban "pronoun games" in elementary schools.

Mastriano has previously suggested that women should be charged with murder for violating abortion bans. This hot mess is the Republican party. There are no new ideas or policies. Republicans are offering nothing of substance—just boogeyman rhetoric in hopes of out-crazying the rest of them.

The authorites should check good old Doug's browser history. I'm sure it's interesting. And I really hate this guy for making me picture my sweet, old 5th-grade teacher, Mrs. Mandot, pole dancing.
