President Biden struck a very measured and assured tone when he spoke to the press today after the Democratic Party stopped the dreaded red wave in its tracks, the one that media and Republicans had prophesied, but which never came to pass.

Instead of a wave, it was a trickle.

Biden also bashed the trickle-down Republican economic lie while touching on the concerns of voters, like inflation that right-wing media outlets claim he ignores.

Biden told the press that Americans will begin to feel the effects in 2023 of the great legislation passed when all the projects and prescription drug negotiations for Medicare begin.

The president vowed to once again try to ban assault weapons and hoped to unify the country.

"Under no circumstance will I support the proposal put forth by Senator's Johnson and [Rick Scott] or make fundamental changes in Social Security and Medicare. That's not on the table," President Biden said. "I will not do that. I will veto any attempt to pass a national ban on abortion."

"But I'm ready to compromise with the Republicans where it makes sense on many other issues. I'll always put the needs and interests of the American people first," he vowed.

The president then began to take questions from the press.

I'm sure Fox News and right-wing MAGA cultists will try and smear this speech, but it was very positive, inclusive to all Americans, and uplifting.
