How can we question chainey's virtue?

The same as we can question the devil's red Dr. Dentons.

Steve King pisses me off with his comments about the Uighers. Glenn Beck made similar comments, as did many on Faux News....and Beck made his usual dumbass facial expressions. I also think Faux News sent that producer stalker Griff Jenkins to the Bahamas to follow up on the Uighers.

That damned Faux News still calls them terrorists, even though they apparently are innocent, and they fail to state that they were held at Gitmo I think for 7 years.

They also fail to state that one of the reasons countries are rejecting the Uighers is that they do not want to piss Beijing off.....China wants to imprison them.

"Obama’s presidency has so far been marked by a series of compromises in the interest of partisan political expediency. That is very far from what he promised his voters and the country."

EXACTLY!! I'm totally disappointed so far... keep hoping for the promised change and keep seeing little, limited, or no delivery on the promises. I am waiting patiently however and keep watching for some indication that Obama's backbone will rise up and say no to the politics and the partisanship that DC is rife with... I'm waiting... patiently...

(3) “Democracy is based on law, and the point must be made that neither high officials nor [the] military … are above the law.” Citing a judge who was critical of a government amnesty proposal, Huntington added: “Democracy isn’t just freedom of opinion, the right to hold elections, and so forth. It’s the rule of law. Without equal application of the law, democracy is dead. The government is acting like a husband whose wife is cheating on him. He knows it, everybody knows it, but he goes on insisting that everything is fine and praying every day that he isn’t going to be forced to confront the truth, because then he’d have to do something about it.”

All the points distilled by John Dean were good. I thought this was the best. They should broadcast this statement on every radio and tv in this nation until the concept of democracy sinks in.

or die.

The revenue of United Health Care was $71 billion in 05.

McGuire's exit compensation from UnitedHealth, expected to be around $1.1 billion, would be the largest golden parachute in the history of corporate America

As you point out, they don't give a rat's a$$ about those people buying insurance, as long as the money for the premiums keeps rollin' in... they hate to have to pay it out for anything, covered, pre-existing, or whatever... Pigs at the trough is what they are.

It's time to let these greedy ba$tards know that the American people are finished giving them their money. It's over!! Time for public health coverage that actually COVERS people's illness and diseases, not just shoves the money in their own pockets.

Seriously what's been going on is outright obscene!

would just distract the right with something else...say, torture investigation/prosecution. They would start being very cooperative if they thought there was reason to make nice. Instead he apparently decided that the carrot, carrot and more carrots approach would work and he just comes off looking ineffectual and unprincipled.

bastards in his own Party.
