The U.S. Chamber of 'Commerce'/Fascism is taking on water for advocating a climate change position that even its own members find irresponsible.
Their lobbyists and advertisements typically use arguments that are simple and effective, even while being inaccurate and misleading. The Chamber also claims "mainstream, commonsense views that are shared by a broad majority of the American people." But in reality, the group is far out of step, pushing for denial and delay when most major companies are calling for urgent government action. As a result, the Chamber may be losing serious ground.
But the Chamber, famous for long campaigns against labor unions, workplace safety regulations and other common sense American policies, is not giving up on its dirty energy advocacy. "If people want to attack us, bring 'em on," Chamber CEO Tom Donohue told reporters recently. "We are not changing where we are," he said. "We've thought long and hard about what is important here and we are not going anywhere."

Enough! Goldman Sachs is thriving while the combined rates of unemployment and underemployment are creeping toward a mind-boggling 20 percent. Two-thirds of all the income gains from the years 2002 to 2007 — two-thirds! — went to the top 1 percent of Americans.
We cannot continue transferring the nation’s wealth to those at the apex of the economic pyramid — which is what we have been doing for the past three decades or so — while hoping that someday, maybe, the benefits of that transfer will trickle down in the form of steady employment and improved living standards for the many millions of families struggling to make it from day to day.
That money is never going to trickle down. It’s a fairy tale. We’re crazy to continue believing it.

In the past Breast Cancer Action considered them a "pinkwasher" because their yogurt was made with dairy stimulated with the hormone rBGH (which has been linked to cancer). However, after a successful BCA-campaign "Put a Lid On It"... Yoplait is now rBGH free!
rBGH is the kind of thing the public should be warned about, but FOX killed a story to do just that and pressured the investigative reporters to lie and change their report because Monsanto threatened to pull advertising dollars.
The attorneys for Fox, owned by media baron Rupert Murdoch, successfully argued the First Amendment gives broadcasters the right to lie or deliberately distort news reports on the public airwaves.
NOTE: Fox attorneys did not dispute Akre’s claim that they pressured her to broadcast a false story, they simply maintained that it was their right to do so
