I just donated to them.
C&L will also be holding a fundraiser all next week too. The economy is hitting us all and we need you to help maintain our community.

Open Left is worth helping. They get my money.
They are a VERY important blog, full of VERY important people, just
ask them!!
But really, they are the technicians blog. They get under the hood,
and I mean all the way down to micro valve spring adjustments. Sirota
posts there!!
I thought that said "Maintaining a Left-wing Conspiracy".
Which I'm all for also.
;)
But here's the reality. You're site was popular in the Bush administration because it was one of several focal points for the anti-Bush movement. Now that Bush is gone, the general stress is lifted, and people have less reason to be focused again. The plague is gone, for now, and people are journeying outdoors again.
In order to maintain yourself as a hub for left wing information, you may have to approach the possibility that doing the whole copy and paste from other news and comedy sites is not going to cut it much longer. Instead of, how can I put this, using other people's works and media clips, you may have to look into producing your own comedy videos and commentaries to bring people in. Instead of just looking around YouTube for older bands, you should be going out to the bars and scouting new talent to come and play on a video for your site.
You must expand your enterprise if you are to succeed in these trying times even though the human urge dictates that we regress when we are threatened. Don't give up on donations, but don't close the door on revenue either.
Zenrage.
Kudos.
I can afford to donate a few clams.
Wish me luck.
Just dropped 10 clams US. Good reading needs to be around. Not much, but all I could toss.
