RNC's dumbathon on renaming the Democrat Socialist/Nazi/Stalin Party

Shawn Steel of the RNC (not related to Michael Steele) goes over the various forms of socialism that they feel embody the Democratic Party under Barack Obama. I hope there were many people there in white coats holding bright and shiny canisters full of Thorazine, syringes in hand, standing ready to deliver payloads of meds to the multitude of patients.

The Republican National Committee will conclude a special session with a much-anticipated vote on a resolution to re-brand the Democratic Party as the "Democrat Socialist Party."
ANP senior producer Harry Hanbury roamed the RNC meeting with a camera and spoke with committeemen and state chairs to hear their thoughts on the vote and their ideas about both parties.
Man, if it isn't Gitmo terrorists coming to our malls and bake sales to kill us where we stand, it's the Democrat Socialist Nazis who are destroying the very fabric of America. Best gather our guns, jump into our Escalades and take to the hills. (For the week-end anyway.)

The Grand Obstructionist Party has no new ideas. They are devoid of political thought. All they can do is to say no, obstruct, insult, make ad hominem attacks and call people names. This is the approach of a 3-year-old toddler. Republicans know full well the majority of the American people support Obama and think he is doing the best he can (though I quibble with some of his current backtracking). All these guys do by using any other term besides Democratic and Democrat, in the right context of course, is smear themselves - that way you know who the loonies are - it's their way of identifying themselves - so if they want to tattoo a giant jackass on their foreheads so be it - makes them easier to pick out of a crowd. Also I don't care what they call the democrats on their blogs, in their conferences or poker games but not in serious discussions with the other side - it just dehumanizes and makes it easier to treat the other side with contempt. It's up to the msm to hold their feet to the fire in this regard (occasionally it does happen!).

There is no such thing as a "Democrat" Party. That term was used in the late 1800's as a derogatory term.
I wish just one of the TV talking heads would remind these GOP morons that it was Senator Joe McCarthy who brought back the use of the term in the 1950's. Most of these nit wits would not even know that.

Maybe if this was another country or another time. I mean don't forget the word "treason" they spitted at you for opposing their illegal war. Anybody remember that the South used to be owned by the Democrats? The entire reason the Republican party emerged from being a small minority party in the Sixties to be a contender was because Southern White Racists fled the Democratic party when LBJ backed Civil Rights.

When they complain of Obama "taking over the banks"... well, technically, the banks didn't HAVE to join the FDIC... but good luck getting any customers without insurance. The auto industry asks for a bailout. Rather than just hand them billions in tax payer dollars with nothing to show for it (like Paulson did with Wall Street), the government actually buys up that much in stock, giving the car companies their money, boosting the stock, and tax payers get something in return for their investment.
