Fox News "Distances" Itself From Glenn Beck's "Obama Is A Racist" Statement - But Says He's Free To Speak His Mind

This afternoon, Bill Shine, SVP of Programming told TVNewser, "During Fox & Friends this morning, Glenn Beck expressed a personal opinion which represented his own views, not those of the Fox News Channel. And as with all commentators in the cable news arena, he is given the freedom to express his opinions."
Make no mistake, the powers that be at Fox News couldn't care less about Beck's statement. If they did, Beck would have been suspended, or at the very least, reprimanded. This kind of outrageous propaganda permeates their network and they use it daily to hold on to their racist viewers.

This racist slime's statement has made all the outlets. No PR is bad PR and the worse it is the better it is for Faux. Look at all the media owned by Murdock. It is all slime by design. Sometimes I watch Faux for a couple laughs and to see what is going on. But you know what I do? I look to see who is advertising and I stop buying what they are selling if it something that I buy. I know I won't break the companies I don't buy from but it nice to have easy access to the names of companies I detest because who they support with their advertising $$$.

Any normal station holding reasonable moral values broadcasting the crap Fox puts out (yeah, I know, that makes no sense; any station trying to stay within some kind of moral framework wouldn't carry Fox's slate of shows) would just make a standard disclaimer at the start of all of its programs.
How FOX would react if MSNBC decided to start doing a series of reports on the actions of FOX News to prove(whether true or not-who cares about facts anymore)that FOX is waging an all out war on the Presidency and is a bonified enemy of the state.

Trying to make the language consistent, that is. English is a mutt language: parts German, French, Danish and (a sprinkle of) Celtic left over. It wasn't until Dr. Johnson's A Dictionary of the English Language was published in 1755 that there was standardization.
But now that we're 250 removed, we really should have few excuses for misspelling. Hell, I'm a pretty good speller, but I've still got Word of the Day/The Free Dictionary bookmarked- and on my Firefox bookmarks toolbar, too, for quicker access- for the times when I'm fouling up the particulars of some five-syllable word.

Whenever the letter, usually a consonant, is doubled in a word, I'll accidentally double the preceding letter. For example, I'll type "leeser" when I mean to type "lesser". Spell-checkers usually catch these types of mistakes, but woe is me when the typo is a real word that happens to be wildly out of context in the sentence.

I'm not up to speed on all the beliefs of Mormonism, but don't they believe that blacks are inferior to whites for some crazy reason? Isn't it practically one of the tenets of the "religion"? So, that would make Beck a racist by default.

He is loved by the likes of these ‘patriots’ who want to ‘take America back’… yep, back from ‘those people’. That is how the president has morphed into a Kenyan, and why the likes of Mr. Dreck continues to propose such pure piffle as fact.
Each mention of his ‘African birth’ is meant to convey the fact that his family roots are from a culture steeped in cannibalism, some bone thru the nose, spear chucking, loincloth wearing primitives, or is that primates, that such ‘inferiors’ have ‘stolen’ their way into the Oval Office. It is their way of invoking the dreaded ‘N’ word without ever saying it, and reminding the base that ‘those people’ have taken over.
The racism at the heart of what these sad cafones preach is not all that well hidden. And the likes of this fool Beck, very purposefully help empower theses rodents.
Once captured by his broadcasting bilge, he feeds the base the propaganda proven effective with faux patriots and those who have been deluded into believing they are doing what is best for America.
Swaddled in the flag he proclaims those not in goose step with his views as un-American, deems the Prez a racist and lines up with the loons of the moon howling far right wack-a-doos who sans opposable thumbs still manage to carry their banners of bovine excreta filled lies into Tea bagging events and such, knowing they and their like minded minions on the rock hard, blood engorged right alone, are sufficient in number to bring him the fame and aggregated wealth concomitant with the publicity his seemingly nutty statements brings.
He may be borderline crazy but it is of the crazy like a fox variety, and FOX NEWS in his case. His on the edge of going over the edge act is making him rich and that is the bottom line to this purveyor of pure BS and gutter talk. He is the male Ann Coulter sans as noticeable an Adams apple.
Look for the agenda that lies at the heart of most pundits’ proclamations, and as always, follow the money. And invest no time in considering the rantings of those who use calumny and hate and fear disguised as opinions, to buttress their own careers.
Unfortunately a man this unctuous, someone who should be only laughed at and looked upon as some type of odd novelty act now has gravitas, gravitas bestowed upon him by those who take his act seriously. Fact is, he should only be allowed to broadcast from a room with a Bell-vue. The unfortunate reality that he is considered a voice of some importance, speaks to a sickness in our society he only helps perpetuate. Wither logic and common sense in the land of the fee.
