Fleischer: Gingrich Is ‘Fabulous’ Dinner Entertainment, But Won’t Be ‘The Next Nominee’ Of The GOP
After much controversy, former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich finally spoke yesterday at the big annual GOP congressional fundraising dinner. Although fellow Republicans often call him “the man of ideas,” his speech last night focused more on attacks of President Obama rather than new policies and visions.
Even though Obama is just five months into his presidency, Gingrich

Why are fundies worried about gays
They don't have abortions.

reminded me of the fact that so many of our talented "leaders" and followers on both the right and left seem to be hell bent on demonstrating all we are capable of producing are boycotts.

While being held for war crimes Hermann Goring, the head of the Nazi air force, gave the following quote. Too bad we didn't learn from it.
Naturally, the common people don't want war; neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship. ...voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.
get off passing some two hundred year old scribbling from a cheese eating surrender monkey as the quote of the day?
I find the weekly Amanduh Sentences at Dennis the Peasant more topical.
The one currently in second place is a doozie.

Most studies of "How The Republicans Won The South" focus on the Southerner's dissatisfaction with the Democrats' awkward embrace of the Civil Rights Movement and the Republican's appeal to that resentment. And to be sure that is one major component of the Republican's success in The South.
However, one major component usually overlooked is the takeover of The South's manufacturing and industrial base by Northern investors - Republicans, beginning at the end of the Civil War and climaxing during World War Two.
They exploited the extreme poverty left in the wake of the War, and manipulated the same political forces that had kept the Southern Democrats in power. They built the "New South."
Democracy is too important to be entrusted to politicians.

...Dr. Tiller's clinic will not reopen. I guess sometimes the terrorists do win.
the neocon fascist rightwing corporatists republican terrorists hsve won most of the battles of the past 30 years but the revolution has just begun and we refuse to lose.
Yeah, I heard that this morning, too. Not encouraging. I can understand his family wanting to get out, but I hope others pick up the task.
They will never win this issue... They may just kill more people... That's all.
I'm sure they've heard of free will... the outcome is only... Human Nature!

The noted wingnuts strategy, could be derived from the radicals Eye for an Eye section of their instruction manual a.k.a. [Playbook].
With the opposing team applying a similar, "Tit for tat" strategy, only on different target(s) and for different reasons.
If we allow [theory and the like] to direct us... absent facts... we come up with the often shallow cliché of, we'll have to agree to disagree. That remark with it's credible properties, more often then not, stymies the TRUTH, by closing a just debate in search of same.
It's when you can't agree to disagree on the laws of this land... in this instance, I'm referring too the U.S. laws, that mischief will inevitably arise in direct proportion to ones interpretations of same.
In ending, I myself believe, it will be through an natural evolution that the truth will be told and the false theories corrected, that will allow us to subsist as a species on this little marble we call home and elsewhere. That is unless some radical(s) finds it necessary to terminate our existence according to their narrow view of this world.
The current numbers speak for themselves. The rest is considerable theory or if I may imply... prophecy. ♥ Thanks Mike

Pres. Obama could throw us yellow elephant hating Veteran liberals a bone by declaring publicly that his birth certificate is right next to bush's military records.
That would shut some twerps the fuck up.
