Sorry folks, but do you all realize how idiotic your politicians and media are making you look to the rest of the world? You aren't looking like a superpower any more. More like a dog that was hit by a car and is flip flopping on the side of the road. Both parties really need a severe wake up call, but are Americans ready willing and able to give them one? The last 9 years have made your nation look like a banana republic run by buffoons, and it isn't looking like that is going to end any time soon.

it's been a "banana republic" for a very long time, it's just been exposed by the internet in the past decade.

Question: How many here would want G.W.Bush giving advice to your children? I'm pretty sure that the anti-Obamas feel the same way.

CC, if you've been coming here this long, you know most everyone here does realize that. You've read the posts and the threads, haven't you? Why do you think C&L has been covering this stuff?

There can't be enough coverage on the details of the torture regime - or the stupidity of this school address thing. Funny how letting the stupid and the evil frame the "debate" doesn't work out well, huh?

That's true, but only one party countenances idiotic 'birther' controversies, 'Muslim' lies, and fits of anguish over a planned address by a democratically elected public official. Apparently, the concern of this Canuck does not extend to the false equivalency rampant in our infotainment industry and civic discourse. Get a grip on your hockey stick, eh?
