I am glad they brought up the vegetarians. I have thought for sometime that we were getting short shrift on the conspiracy labeling.
On the other side of the equation, the Capitalists will be discounting global warming until the last one of them, and us, is extinct.

It boggles the mind how this got past Sibelius and how so many HMO shills got on the panel while no oncologists or radiologists were represented.

As Roy Edroso once said, “I always suspected that when they were denouncing Saddam’s torture chambers, they were just angry that they didn’t get to say who got tortured.”
Turnout on actual election day (and including early voting) was so poor, I don't think the fundies are going to have much affect. In addition, many winger heads would probably explode trying to make the choice between an Anglo lesbian Dem and an African American male Dem. The Republicans couldn't even get their single candidate into a runoff (it was 3 Dems, 1 Republican as the major candidates).
District A council runoff is much more interesting to me (well, obviously it's my district) as the Republican candidate Brenda Stardig has the support of Bob Perry (the Texas homebuilder/swift boat backer/largest political donor ever) while the Democrat Lane Lewis is a former social worker and has taken a hiatus as a teacher to run.
